All 4 BFG KM2's Failed (Separated)
I upgraded from the 306/65R17 BFG KO's to the 305/65R17 KM's. I was really happy with how the tires looked on my 2003 Dodge 2500 4X4 Crew Cab Cummins Diesel and the off road performance was great especially in mud. The on road noise did get louder as the tire did where, but I expected that. I do rotate these tires every 5,000 miles. Also, I do pull loads every once in a while in the range of about 10k lbs. The reason for my extremely low rating is due to the fact that all 4 tires separated badly at about 50% tread life. When the first tire (passenger rear) separated, I did not have full replacement road hazard on the tire. So, it was warrantied out (pro-rated) and I purchased another tire as well as full replacement road hazard on the other three. Within a month, both of the front two tires separated as well. These were warrantied out in full and I repurchased the replacement road hazard. At the same time, I purchase another tire (with replacement road hazard) so that the drivers rear tire could be used for the spare thinking the first three tire separations were anomalies. 1 year later, I looked under my truck at the spare and it was completely separated with tread hanging down and the tire on the verge of blowing out under the truck as a spare!!! I simply could not believe this. However, since I did purchase the full replacement warranty, it was warrantied out as well. So, now I have a brand new spare KM2. I'm not sure if there was initial quality issues with these tires, but this type of failure for me is unacceptable given the loads that I pull at times. I did not have these types of failures with the KO's and will probably move back that direction in the future. I hope this review is noted by BFG and I would definitely be willing to help in any way that I can to improve this tire, because I still like this tire very much.

excellent tire
this is an excellent tire. had over 45,000 miles before i had to replace them. its a fine balance to be a daily driver tire. road noise is a bit at highway speeds but i didn't get these for the highway. the off roading ability of these tires are unsurpassed. never even got a chance to air them down because they worked so well. if your looking for a daily driver tire with light four wheeling go with the all terrains, but if you do moderate four wheeling this is the best on the market. have these tires on a 2001 Chevy Z71 4X4 1500, custom 6inch lift, Whipple supercharged 5.3L. i run 315/75-16's. live in the desert and these work excellent for my terrain

Disappointed
I have used these type of tires and specifically the BFG products for over 20 years and been very pleased with the tires durability and wear. Now that I am retired I don't put tires to the test like I once did but felt that the BFG product had proven itself so I continued to buy these tires. The set that I have now , or what's left of it has disappointed me terribly. The first tire self destructed at 11,000 miles and now a second tire at 12,000. The manfacturer hasn't been much help. I'm really disappointed as I am left with a damaged vehicle and 2 more potentially dangerous tires.

My Daily Driver Tires
I bought a set in the 30x9.50R15 size for my wife's 97 Grand Cherokee in 2009 to replace her old MT KMs. Sadly the Jeep didn't survive for much longer. I held onto these tires until I bought a 95 Grand Cherokee in 2014, and put these on as they had lots of tread left. I work EVERY day delivering newspapers, I see all types of weather and some of my roads are just gravel/rocky dirt paths. I never fear getting stuck or damaging my tires. They just look plain awesome, and people notice. I like not having to buy new tires 2-4 times a year like I did with a car.

Awesome Tires
Howdy together, my jeep and I love these tires. This Goodrich Mud Terrain product T / A KM2 is now already for a total of 248050 miles on my Jeep Wrangler TJ assembled and I am thrilled by the product. Rain in the city and on the highway, with snow in the mountains, muddy river crossings or heat in the sand areas is always reliable and the mature masters all because without showing weaknesses. Yes, I am now since my many sets of tires-change still a fan of the tire. I have driven a total of 248050 miles far 6 x sets of tires from BF Goodrich Mud Terrain T / A KM2 and will again choose BFGoodrich Mud Terrain T / A KM2 for my next set of tires. I just hope the BF Goodrich tires for a long time makes so I can buy this excellent tire again. Well done BFGoodrich Team best regards Bernie

KM2's
Bought these for on and off road use after running 2 sets of competitor brand. By far these KM2's outperformed off road, and with 43,000 miles, just had them gauged as having 50% thread remaining. They do very well on highway driving at Interstate Speeds of 75 mph with no excessive noise. Stopping is remarkable as well. They do excellent off road in Mud, or Rock Crawling at various Off Road Vehicle Parks we have been to.

Awesome off road but after 30,000 miles tires
Awesome off-road tires and look great....After about 30,000 miles the tires cup and are very loud which is when most people replace them. I still love BF Goodrich but with me driving on the road most of the time (only go off road 3-4 times a year) the wear life of tires is not for me. I am going to try some AT KO2's...I read some people get around 60,000 miles as long as you rotate and check pressure.

BFG KM2's
Great tires and one of the best all-around tires that I have ever owned. I am on my second set with two different vehicles. My last set was on a GMC 2500HD and the KM2's had around 40k miles on them and were still half tread when I got rid of the truck. They worked so good on that heavy truck that I decided to put them on my Jeep. These tires work very well in sand and gumbo mud. They also wear very well if rotated properly.

Reliable gear
Have already used them for 20,000 miles on a nissan pick up truck, both on road and off road in Greece; excellent performance on rocky Greek mountains (Pindos & Taigetos) and on mud terrain of hunting areas. Also very reliable in farm work, especially under heavy load conditions. For on road use, the noise starts after 95mph. My only concern is the use on icy roads, but it might be a result of my limited experience in driving on ice (no issue though with fresh snow up to 10inches).

Fantastic Tire
I purchased the 235/85R16 Mud Terrain KM2's for my 1960 F100 4X4 restoration. They are mounted on stock style 16X6 steel rims. I was going for a stock looking, tall and skinny, aggressive tire without going with a reproduction bias ply tire. These tires worked perfect. The lugs wrap slightly over the shoulder of the tire without all the "jazzy" crummy looking sidewall designs that most modern tires seem to be dressed up with. The tires were not overly loud on the highway. They tracked straight and rode smooth. I took the truck out in a muddy field and tested the 4-wheel drive. The mud was upwards of 6" deep and there was no problem with grip. I stopped multiple times and drove both forwards and backwards with the tires gripping and getting me moving easily. my only fault with them is that there isn't a blackwall only option which may have saved me a little bit of money.
