Review Summary
The tires excel in off-road conditions like mud, rocks, snow, and ice, providing impressive traction and durability. They also perform well on-road, with good wet and dry traction, though some users note they may wear faster and have a harsher ride when used primarily on paved roads. Overall, the tires are versatile and capable, handling both daily driving and off-road adventures.

Overrated and underperforming
Highly overrated tire. Very poor traction in mud. Did not clean out, did not dig, had no lateral traction, and where basically worthless at the sight of water. Poor wet, snowy, and icey road performance. I wanted them gone before they hit 3/4 tread and at 1/2 tread they where removed. It was a waste of my money. They did balance well and ride nice & smooth. One of the smoothest MT/offroad tires Ive ran. The sacrifice in needed performance is not worth the ride though.

Awsome
Have 35/12.5/17 on my lifted F150, and they are the best tires I have ever owned. I have run 35's on all my trucks for 20+ years, and gone through many sets. I usually get 30-35k per set, but currently have 42,000 on the new MT's, and they still have good life left in them. I expect close to 50,000 before I pull them. Had several sets of the old MT's, and these are a considerably better tire. Excellent in the mud, and aren't cupping like every other tire I have ever owned. Highly recommended.

best mud terrains ever built
i bought these tires when they first came out. my truck is a 94 gmc sierra c1500. never once did I ever get stuck, I even tried a few times and they just pulled out. I have the 10 ply tires and I'm about 10k miles over the 30k mile warranty and still at 11/32 of tread. these are very quiet, long lasting, and very smooth. these are the best tires to get if you go offroading on the weekends with your daily driver. highly recommended, and I will buy no other tire for my truck. excelent job Bfgoodrich!!!!

Good on 06 Tacoma
KM2s have performed up to expectations. I have them on a 2006 4wd Tacoma and currently have 34,000 miles with alot of life left. Offroad reliability and performance are good.

Jeep Rubicon's new Tire
I purchased the original BFG KM for my 88 Range Rover. The original BFG KM's look awesome but lacked traction on wet streets, which is what I drive on 99.9% of the time. The new KM2's look and ride a lot better. I now drive a 07 Jeep Rubicon which comes with KM's but I think the new tire Jeep should change to is the KM2. I went a plus size up from a 255/75 R17 to a 285 70 R17. This is now my 3rd set of BFG's and I recommend them to everyone that asks or comments on my tires. The ride and noise is better.
