Review Summary
The tires excel in off-road conditions like mud, rocks, snow, and ice, providing impressive traction and durability. They also perform well on-road, with good wet and dry traction, though some users note they may wear faster and have a harsher ride when used primarily on paved roads. Overall, the tires are versatile and capable, handling both daily driving and off-road adventures.

wouldnt buy them again !
I bought these BF Goodrich Mud Terrains just under 2 years ago, I paid good $$ for them to. I don't drive more then 8 miles a day on average, and take a couple of 150 mile both ways, road trips in a year, I haven't put more than 7,000 miles on them, and they are already cupping and on the front and the back are starting to wear.

Longevity
These tires were manufactured in january of 2001 and 12 years later the tread is perfectly fine. Belt separation is the only reason i have to replace these but they were great the whole time. Took these through 3 feet of snow, off-loading, climbing curbs, and used them as a daily driver. Great pavement grip while getting the job done in bad conditions. These tires kept me worry free and were beastly.

Quiet Tires ride great!
*sold my procomp xterrians with low miles because I did not like. I am a long time BFG man for all my toys and trucks. *very quiet, much much better then those "other" tire manufactures. I even like the white wall out to show others i have a quality tire!!! *keep up the good work, promotions work I was on the fence about this purchase an waited until the last day to get the $50 money back card.

Overall Not Bad
I purchased two sets of these for my 2006 and 2009 Dodge Power Wagons. Thought I would try them out as I work in the seismic industry and never know what I might get into. Offroad, dirt, gravel, snow, wet grass, creek crossings, logging trails, muddy pastures, ect.... these tires are just what you would expect them to be. Great traction, great handling. I was even pleasantly suprised with the lack of noise these tires make on the highway. (There's some, I just expected more) Tread life seams to be OK as well. Recently I have found myself putting more highway miles on than normal and what I'm dissapointed about is that as these KM2's are wearing, they are constanly going out of balance. I have had both trucks balanced and re-balanced and need to have them done again. Wheel weights are not missing, dirt or mud has not accumulated, no bent rims..... but because it is happening in both trucks I suspect the tires.

Best tire the New Beetle has ever had
I have a set of these in 215/75r15 on my wife's 98 New Beetle TDI and use them to commute to work and get to our favorite camping spots. These are far superior to the General Grabber AT2 tires we had installed before both on the road and off. They are not nearly as noisy as I had expected, and have exceptional pavement grip considering the tread design. Where these tires really shine is in the dirt though. This little New Beetle can do some silly stuff now that it's got proper tires. We are taking this car places I never thought it would go. We will be driving it to Alaska soon, and this tire gives me a confidence I wouldn't have with any other. I will be buying these again!

Love these tires
These came stock on my 2012 Rubicon. They impress me everywhere I go. They are great on Moab rock, crawling. They're super in deep, deep sand dunes, taken down to 15 psi, and even 5 psi when in snow several feet deep. In deep snow WAY back in the woods, they stayed mounted on the rims at 5 psi and got us out when I thought for sure we'd have to leave it. In mud, they are superb. What's most surprising is on the street they are great too. Excellent turning, braking, and quiet. I have 37,000 miles and expect another 10,000. Will absolutely buy again.
