These are phenominal on and offroad tires. Extremely quiet for big lugs. Great in evrything they have seen(in MD we have gotten the full gambit of weather). Love the way they look on the truck.
There is no better ...
There is no better all-around mud-terrain radial than the KM2. I have been running Krawlers for years in my competition buggy and have since switched to KM2's on my trail rig. I am 100% impressed with the ability for this tire to be so aggressive and tough off-road with incredible road manners to boot. Thank you BFG for the wide variety of 16" rim offerings for us old-school wheelers.

If you are buying KM2's you are buying an off road tire with very good street characteristics. For the past 10 years I have only used Goodyear MTR's but with Goodyears redesign of the MTR a couple of years ago I was very unhappy with the changes Goodyear made so I jumped ship and switched to BFG KM2's. Compared to the MTR's the KM2's are a little stiffer but this is good for me because I use my jeep as a daily driver and the stiffer compound of the KM2's privided longer life and better on road handling than the MTR's. I found that the BFG KM2's are a fantastic off road tire with plenty of traction. The KM2's do not chunk as badly as the new MTR's when used in sharp rocks. I always air down off road and used to run the MTR's at 10-12 psi but because of the harder compound on the KM2's I run my pressure at 8-10 psi without any problems on a 12.5" wide tire on an 8" wheel. The tire beads hold to the wheel at low pressures without any problems of breaking off the wheel. I have found the new KM2's to have very good characteristics in the mud and able to clear much better than the new Goodyear MTR's which gum up badly. As far as athetics go there is no better looking tire in my opinion than the BFG KM2 and you can run the tire with white outlined letters on one side or blackwalls on the other since these tires are reversable and most jeep people I know prefer the blackwall sides. This is something which I beleive BFG could do a better job of explaining to the public in their tire description. Overall, I am very happy with the KM2's on my jeep and have very good results both on road and off road. This is a very good Mud Terrain tire for a dual purpose rig. I should have made the switch to BFG KM2's sooner and saved myself a lot of heartache. (and money)

This tire is the best performer in its class. I have over 20 years off-roading on all types of mud terrains . Overall performance is excellent. The new tread design stays quiet throughout the tread wear. Traction is at a premium

I have these on my daily driver cherokee/ jeepspeed chace car, driven on them every where from johnson valley to pismo beach, Have u yet to get stuck with them, had them for over a year, my bro has mtrs, and already picked up a nail, in like a month, love these tires, thank you BFG
Great job of evolving ...
Great job of evolving previous BFG Mud-Terrain. New KM2 continues the legacy of bomb proof tire in a comfortable well wearing tire but reduces noise and signigicantly enhances off-road performance. Tire needs no siping as tread design allows tire to perform better on various pavement conditions. Shoulder design grabs rocks like a hand! Traditional bomb proof side walls a real confidence booster.
