Land Cruiser 79 Pick up - BFG Mud KM2
I travel extensively in Southern Africa. This includes Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho, South Africa, Mozambique. My last set of tires did 63 000 miles. This included tarmac as well as gravel roads. I run 285/75/ R16's and will never run any other brand tire.....ever. I have never had a sidewall puncture and really enjoy the confidence I have to travel off the road into the veld and bush without hesitation. Working with cattle and wild animals my vehicle is tested every day and thus the tires need to be on par with the reliability of my Land Cruiser. Thanks for an excellent product...
Can the KM come back out to play again?
These tires are okay. They clean out so so and the on-road manners may be a bit better than the original KM, but what I REALLY miss is the original KM tire. I wore out 4 sets of those and would buy a 5th if the "genius" who decided to end this line would have taken the day off instead. Does BF Goodrich have any idea how much business they lost? Everyone I know as well who used to run those tires has changed brands. I am thinking about doing the same for the next set of mudders I buy. What a shame!

these are by far the best tires going. Have purchased others tires and have always come back to these tires. Have had the same set on my truck for going on six years and will get another winter on them. Bottom line is " there is no other"
Please bring back the original KM
These tires are OK, but are not a replacement for the original Mud-Terrain. Everyone I know who used to run the BFG KM has switched to another brand. Bring back the original Mud-Terrain, and you will re-gain a lot of customers.

Dodge 2500 4X4
This tire should be offered with a tread mile warranty. I almost didn't buy them because of that. I have 64K on my 35x12.5x17 KM2s. They have seen mud, snow, sand, rocks, ice and have gotten scuffed up a bit on the occasional wheelin adventure and are still going strong! I rotate them religiously every 5K and my worst of the 4 still has 8/32 on the tread. They are a little noisy on the road, but so is the truck! Nothing you can't live with if you want a good "all-around" truck tire. These will go anywhere I want to take them, and they look pretty tough too. When they're wore out, same ones are going back on. Cost is certainly a consideration......but you get what you pay for in this case. Yes I would, and did recommend to a friend. He's a couple years in now, and getting similiar results.

Jeep TJ KM2 Review
33x12.50x15 on 10" rims. I have run BFGs on all my off road rigs since as far as I can remember. I started with All Terrains which I found out real fast were useless in mud unless you could keep the RPMs up. I settles on Mud Terrains & have never looked back. I just put a new pair of KM2s on my 2000 TJ & they replaced KMs. I am very happy with them except I see the rim protector that is on the KM is not on the KM2. They tires have decent road manners & they seem quieter than the KM. They road nice aired down to 15 psi on the trail. Overall I am happy with the tire, need to get steel wheels to trail with.

BF Goodrich KM2
We have used a set of 32x12.5xR15 on our Land Rover Defender 130 truck. We have travelled over 30 000 kms in Southern and Central Africa over every terrain except snow and ice and we have found the KM2's to peform impeccably. Best is that the tires have only worn approx 40%! Will definetly replace with the same if not larger.
