I’ve owned several sets of these for my 85 and 86 Mustang with aftermarket 16 inch rims. Traction in the snow has always been an issue for these cars and not anymore with these tires. I was heartbroken to find out from my tire store my size has been discontinued, 245/50/R16. Performance 16” A/S tires ant near impossible to find.

Do not buy
These are the worst tires I ever owned. I've had many other models of BFG's and all were great. I read reviews and while there are positive ones there were also ones saying they are noisy and didn't last long. I sadly ignored the bad reviews and have hated these since. Don't make the same mistake.
Jim, we are sorry to read of your disappointment in the Comp 2 A/S Plus tires. We'd like to get more information, so a member of our team will be in touch with you.

Not *perfect* but amazing all around tire for the price
No one tires is perfect at everything so my 5 star review is based on overall performance and cost compared to other UHP all seasons. There is a reason why Consumer Reports has this tied for THE best UHP all season, regardless of price, and it's a good 15% lower cost than its same corporate owned but different brand competitor. Pro's: VERY well rounded tire with good to very good performance in nearly every category; from winter performance as a non-winter tire, to wet and dry cornering and braking and ride quality. This is truly a UHP and not regular all season, a few reviewers who rated this tire down clearly bought the wrong category and shouldn't review a UHP tire for their non-performance boring sedans. This means compared to a regular or Touring all season, these are slightly louder and wear out a little faster, all 100% expected in a UHP all season, but FAR from annoying if you have a modern car that is in good condition with good alignment and non-worn out suspension. Ride is perfectly balanced, smooth and handling feels very stable and confident, it clearly rides more comfortably AND handles better than cheapie UHP all seasons I had previously. Con's: For a UHP all season, take off/launch traction and surprisingly hydroplaning is merely average, which is still acceptable for sure.. Still, overall, for a good 15% less cost than the top Ultra premium UHP all season tier, this easily competes with those in excellent all around performance and feel. Seems there does seem to be the rare "bad" one that won't balance well or wears out unevenly, just buy and have mounted at a shop you trust that also offers the rotating instant rebate deals that make these an awesome overall value.

Superior Traction and Handling
Excellent tires

Perform well
I've only put about 600 miles on these tires. Their wet and dry performance is quite good. The sidewall feels nice and stiff. The only drawback so far appears to be a noticeable drop in gas mileage.

Great tires
second time

Tires Serve its purpose
Tires look huge on my Mustang compared to the Porellus that were on it. They do the job and that's all that matters!

Great tires
I bought these tires through Costco for my 2015 Camry. My tires were the original Bridgestone Turanza EL400-2s that came with the car. It was 7 years old and was starting to have some minor dry rot issues. But I remember the times when they were brand new. These Comp-2 A/S Plus is a big step over the Turanza. The response is better, better traction in rain. Turanza was horrible in rain and snow. Haven't driven the Comp-2s in snow as I moved from the Mid-west. But I think they should be ok. Also the ride is now firm, but not hard. Just the right level of stiffness. Very happy with the purchase. The Turanza had almost 4/32nd thread left after 44000 miles. This one seems to have a lower UTQG rating for wear compared to the Turanza. Will have to wait and see how it will hold up longer term. Also a lot of people mentioned thread noise in the reviews. I did not experience any major thread noise or growl. May be it is vehicle dependent. I recommend this tire to everyone who are shopping for these now.

as advertised
The tires are good traction and performance all around for my 2013 Camaro

Excellent tire for driving confidence
I have put about 15,000 miles on these tires. Yes they are a sport tire and expect a bit of noise. With all of the information out there do your research. I have so much driving confidence in these for dry and heavy rain conditions. I have not experienced any snow driving since they were purchased in June. I still have 7/32mm of tread left. Rotate your tires every 6,000 miles for maximum tread life.
