Review Summary
The tires excel in off-road conditions like mud, rocks, snow, and ice, providing impressive traction and durability. They also perform well on-road, with good wet and dry traction, though some users note they may wear faster and have a harsher ride when used primarily on paved roads. Overall, the tires are versatile and capable, handling both daily driving and off-road adventures.

Well performing tire but ...
Well performing tire but getting expensive. This tire performed well on many different terrains. I liked the way it cleaned out well. It was fairly sticky on snowy conditions. Mud was not an issue and using on rocks with low air pressure the sidewalls held up as expected. I'm a bit disappointed with how the prices keep raising on this tire and may search for a competitor with around the same review but less out of pocket.

IT IS A VERY GOOD TIRE ...
IT IS A VERY GOOD TIRE FOR MOST OFF-ROAD SITUATIONS. IN SAND, I THINK IT IS JUST GOOD TO REGULAR. A LITTLE BIT HARD TO BALANCE, BUT I LOVE HOW THEY LOOK ON MY TRUCK!

I expect the BFG KM2 to work great off road but it also handles great as a daily driver tire as well.

I would like to see these ...
I would like to see these excellent performance tires have their live extended (less wear) I use them mostly on the paved streets but they are wearing out fast, even w/ the recommended 5000-6000 miles rotation, balance and alignments.

Good tires for on/off ...
Good tires for on/off road, a bit loud, good dry/wet traction, regular in mud, good in ice, and very good traction in rocks.

WAS MORE OF A STREET TIRE ...
WAS MORE OF A STREET TIRE THAN A OFFROAD TIRE. ROAD NOISE WAS OK.

Needs a raised rim ...
Needs a raised rim protector to help keep rocks and sticks out of the bead area. Needs to have the tread changed so the tire does not slide sideways when off camber.

The new KM2 does not ...
The new KM2 does not achieve the mileage the old MT provided and the cost in my opinion is to high to be a good value.
