Review Summary
The tires excel in off-road conditions like mud, rocks, snow, and ice, providing impressive traction and durability. They also perform well on-road, with good wet and dry traction, though some users note they may wear faster and have a harsher ride when used primarily on paved roads. Although the KM2 lowered my MPG, I am extremely content with this tire. I love how quiet it is on the road, and how smooth the ride is. Offroad it has exceeded my expectations. Helps me clear every obstacle I have encountered in my lifted Wrangler. It has excellent traction on the rocks and in loose gravel and dirt. They clean out extremely well also. You definitely get your moneys worth with this tire, and then some.

I wish they gripped just a little better on the wet pavement.

I'd been looking forward to using a new tire on my wrangler after the Goodyear MT/R's wore out on my Jeep and figured that I'd try the KM/2's as a replacement. On the road the KM/2's were fantastic, quiet, comfortable, handled great, braking is great, etc. Off-road the traction is excellent, they gripped very well on decomposed granite as well as dirt. My only disappointment has been that on their first trip out I ended the day with 2 punctures, both in the tread of the tire. The first was from running over a bush and getting a stick pushed into the tread between the tread blocks. I fixed this with a plug and carried on. The second I have yet to find but after adding a bottle of Slime I've had no problems. I hope that the issues I had were just flukes. I'm looking forward to my next hardcore trail ride to really work the tire and check their sidewall strength.

The tread design looks awesome! Would love to be able to buy the old tried and true KM1 tread pattern, but this tire seems to be a suitable and capable replacement.

Overall they're a decent, but not great tire for daily driver use. Offroad is where these tires perform.

Well performing tire but getting expensive. This tire performed well on many different terrains. I liked the way it cleaned out well. It was fairly sticky on snowy conditions. Mud was not an issue and using on rocks with low air pressure the sidewalls held up as expected. I'm a bit disappointed with how the prices keep raising on this tire and may search for a competitor with around the same review but less out of pocket.

Loved the look of the km2's. They did very well on dry rock ,pavement , dirt . Although they did not seem to preform well on shale , clay , mud ie; east coast conditions. I really feel the km 1's worked better , just not big enough sizes. maybe a km1 in a 38x15r17 in the future ? When i had to replace my km2's i went with the 'other' brand 38"x14.50r17 .I really like the 38" tire
