Review Summary
The tires excel in off-road conditions like mud, rocks, snow, and ice, providing impressive traction and durability. They also perform well on-road, with good wet and dry traction, though some users note they may wear faster and have a harsher ride when used primarily on paved roads. Overall, the tires are versatile and capable, handling both daily driving and off-road adventures.

The tires were great in the mud and snow, but still quiet and comfortable on the street. I never got stuck, partly because of the tires, but also part me. They were awesome.

I currently use 38-14.50-17 Km2 on a 2006 Dakota that is basically for offroad and love everything about these tires. Im also needing tires for my dually and BFG are the only mfg that has a 255-80-17 which is also Km2, a little more agressive than I prefer for my tow rig...

These tires were great on and off the road they lasted me about 3yrs of everyday driving the best tire I ever had

I have had these tires on ...
I have had these tires on my truck for almost 4,000 miles and the ride, handling, and traction has been very good for a mud tire. Not too loud either. Just make sure to maintain proper inflation on and off road. I have had several experiences in deep snow and these tires have been great. Highly recommend.

Pros: Great offroad, seem to be good on ice (more real-world testing to come), look terrific on my Jeep. Cons: A bit noisy on the road, not great in heavy wet snow, and they're pricey. Still to find out: how well they wear, how well they stay balanced, how often they need to be rotated to avoid cupping

Excellent tire for ...
Excellent tire for off-road and great on-road manners. They balance well, and are not overly loud on the street. They are not good in snow and ice on-road (poor braking/lack of siping), however off-road they perform very well in the snow.

Great tire that bites very well! Would like to see better wear.

they was a good tire just wished they would have lasted longer than 20,000 miles

They have about 5000 miles on them, I have experienced some tire shake but traction is excellent. They are pricey though.

These are great tires, ...
These are great tires, and certainly a much needed improvement from the old Mud Terrains, of which I owned several sets. The wear, traction, and durability is all typical BFG, meaning above average. So why 4 stars instead of 5? Noise. I ran one set of the old Mud Terrains and one set of the MT KMs on the Grand Cherokee, kept them rotated, and excessive noise was NEVER an issue. I regrettably can not say the same for the KM2s. They are loud, no way around it. So much so that I will likely switch to the BFG All Terrain KO when these tires finally wear down. I REALLY want to LOVE the KM2s, but I only LIKE them.
