Review Summary
The tires excel in off-road conditions like mud, rocks, snow, and ice, providing impressive traction and durability. They also perform well on-road, with good wet and dry traction, though some users note they may wear faster and have a harsher ride when used primarily on paved roads. Overall, the tires are versatile and capable, handling both daily driving and off-road adventures.

This is my second set of ...
This is my second set of BFG mud terrains. The first set was the standard KM. The standard km ran for 55000 miles and I replaced them because i wanted the new KM2/ After 55000 miles they still had over half tread left. THe current KM2's are approaching 25000 miles and dont show any wear at this time. The old km was better in the mud but the KM2 is better on rocks.

I have less than 10K miles on these tires at this time. I have them on a half ton Dodge Ram that sees use as a ranch truck (both work and play.) It's about a 90 mile commute to and from the ranch each time I go. The tires love mud! These tires were the single best improvement to my truck. The first time I took them out in the mud I could feel them pulling the truck through. It was awesome. They perform just as good in the dirt. On the road, they are relatively quiet. Probably close to being as quiet as my all terrains on my other truck. So far a great tire. Oh, and they have killer looks too.

The Tires are very aggressive off road but give a very comfortable rife on the road

Best in class tire on the ...
Best in class tire on the market bar none. Tough as nails. Our small company runs BFG exclusively. We make Transmission Line repairs in remote areas throughout the South Eastern US. Marsh, Clay, rock. Several different soil conditions. Back roads, pot holes, freshly bush-hogged fields with sharp sapling stumps. Fresh plowed food plots. Then there is the highway to get home. We demand a lot from tires. With the soaring fuel prices and current economic turmoil, we revise our budget constantly. BFG is a staple for us because of dependability, driveability, comfort, wear and overall value for dollar. Using the KM's, KM2's, A/T and LongTrail tires, we consider BFG a partner in our business as we feel they help us serve our customer and community better.

Hands down the best mud tire on the market. Very low road noise and great traction. I haul a 35ft toyhauler through the soft sands of the Oregon Dunes with ease.
