Review Summary

The tires excel in off-road conditions like mud, rocks, snow, and ice, providing impressive traction and durability. They also perform well on-road, with good wet and dry traction, though some users note they may wear faster and have a harsher ride when used primarily on paved roads. Overall, the tires are versatile and capable, handling both daily driving and off-road adventures.

Terrible choice by Jeep

Came on my Jeep JT Texas Trail. I have 13,000 miles and cannot wait until they wear out. Road noise is horrible, driver front sounds as if part of the tread is worn more than the rest. Does not handle well cornering on wet pavement. Probably a good tire for off road, but not daily drive. I will perform a 5 wheel rotation this weekend to get the front left into the spare position.

The KM2s susprised me in ...

The KM2s susprised me in that their on road traction is outstanding even in heavy rain. I was not expecting to get this kind of life out of these tires. My 05 Grand Cherokee has been lifted (4") and has an huge bull bumber with winch out front and if there was a skid plate or rock guard available it is on my Jeep. I am not bragging I just want to explain how much extra weight I have added. The on road comfort and quite ride is remarkable for such an aggresive tread pattern. Off road, the KM2s are a perfect match for the power of the Hemi and the lift. These tires will take the Jeep anyware I have the guts to go. I have rolled over some pretty bad stuff expecting damage that did not accure. If they ever ware out I will replace them with the same KM2s. Good Tires!!!

I purchased my first set ...

I purchased my first set of 32/11.50/15 KM2 when the tires first released in 2008 i was looking for a porforming tire with an apropriate functional aggresive thread pattern that gives good all around use. After becoming familar with the BFG KRAWLER T/A thru rockcrawling events and King of the Hammer's i saw the full function of its thread pattern of the intire tire including sidewall abuse performing amazing on the rocks. I needed i tire like a crawler for my medium duty trail rig. I looked at no other than the KM2 being almost identical in like a crawler but for both offroad and street use. I tried my KM2s in snow, mud, rocks, sand its performance blew me away' my Jeep was night and day difference its ability offroad increased on these set's of tires. The tires performance amazed my offroad group 4 of them choose the KM2 as their next tire. My Jeep is now on 35/12.50/15 KM2s i looked at no other tire. its performance is exceptional for a street and offroad tire..

I have used the Mud ...

I have used the Mud Terrains on my old Jeep for years and have had very good luck with them. I put the KM2's on my Rubicon based on the experiences with the older Mud Terrains, and have not been disappointed. I do a lot of rock crawling in southern Arizona, and typically air down to 11#, and the tires have performed very well. I have a couple of small cuts in the surface of the sidewall, but they have taken serious abuse and still have gotten me to the end of the trail.

I have had the BFG MT KM2s on my truck for about 18 months and 20K miles. They ride nice for a large tire, and the wear has been impressive for such a heavy truck. I would definitely buy these tires again.

FIRST SET, I GOT OVER 50K MILES WITH REGULAR ROTATING, NO PROBLEM. THE SECOND SET DIDN'T GET ROTATED REGULARLY & HAS DEVELOPED AN UNBALANCEABLE VIBRATION AT FREEWAY SPEEDS. CAN'T DO A REGULAR ROTATION NOW, TOO MUCH VIBRATION, THEY CAN ONLY BE ROTATED/SWITCHED SIDE TO SIDE. BUT OVERALL LIKE THE LOOK, DURABILITY, & TRACTION
