Review Summary
The tires excel in off-road conditions like mud, rocks, snow, and ice, providing impressive traction and durability. They also perform well on-road, with good wet and dry traction, though some users note they may wear faster and have a harsher ride when used primarily on paved roads. Overall, the tires are versatile and capable, handling both daily driving and off-road adventures.

I'd buy them again.
I have these tires on my 91 Chevy my gas mileage is still great these tires do great in clay and soft mud the side wall is very good and the tires have held very good they do have some side wall damage but have held very good especially for the price.

Best tire known to mankind, ever...
I have used this tire on my Jeep CJ5, a few years of Chevy 1/2 ton 2 door trucks, my 2002 Ford F250 Diesel Crew Cab and currently I am buying my second set for my 2008 Chevy 2500HD Crew Cab Diesel. Note all my trucks have been 4X4. Oh I also have a full size Tattoo of the KM2 tread going all the way around my left arm. Yeah, I have tried other tires, Goodyear, Cooper's and others and I will NOT waste my $$ on them again. Sure most my time is spent on the road, but when I get off the road, I may get lost but I don't get stuck.I have given old sets of my BFG Mud tires to friends and they like them so much even when they were worn out that when they got the $$ they bought new BFG Mud tires. And none of use will give up our BFG tires, or not until they get our guns out of our cold hands. LOL.Note: Wear-Life all depends on the vehicle you put them on. The lighter the vehicle the longer the life. They have been the best I have found for a Diesel truck for on/off road as most tires get you stuck in wet grass. As for my CJ5, I can't ware them out for some reason. It also depends on how you drive and your air pressure of course.Fuel Efficiency: Well sure you can do better than the BFG Mud, but then you have a street tire and you are buying two sets of tires to one set of BFG Mudders. So my math has shown that buying a very little more diesel fuel is cheaper than buying a set of tires.Off-Road: Hands Down, The BEST. I run with guys with the same truck's as I but they have the other guys tires and I end up pulling them out of my tracks.Braking: Okay, they are the best in mud and dirt, on the road, wet and ice they slip a little, I know this, so I slow down. It makes a guy drive like you should anyway and get better fuel milage and fewer break jobs from running a tire that can weight 50% more than the stock tread that came on your rig.Comfort: What is comfort, is it when people stop you in the parking lot and say "Nice truck, Cool Tires". Is it the feel you get knowing your going to be one of the only guys on the road when the highway is closed due to snow and you picking people out of cars and 4X4 trucks to take them to the local high school to spend a night or three. I get this and more, so who gives a [*] about a bump in the road from time to time, thats a job for the road crews anyway, not my BFG Mudders.I would like to talk to anyone and everyone about my BFG Mudders but I am not sure BFG would want me to put my contact info on here, so contact them and tell them you want to talk to me and if they are good folks they will make the contact for us.Tod FinleyAlbion, Michigan

got to be to worst tire
2000 s10 zr2- daily driver, some dirt roads for hunting or emergency call, as i am a volunteer firefighter. the look of the tire is awesome, but they wear horribly uneven and they roar like mad. no matter how much you rotate them. they break loose on pavement with the slightest moisture. they' only been on my truck a year. i am very dissappointed in them for they price i paid.

Llantas malas para la ciudad
Que sean más para uso en ciudad sin tanto desgaste

llanta de gran desempeño
Tiene buen desempeño en el pavimento mojado y seco, al igual que en todo terreno.

Not Impressed
I purchased 35/12.5/15's and they did not measure up even close to that. They are actually a little less than 33 inches tall and about 9.5 inches wide at the tread. I was planning on putting them on my 15x10 wheels until i got the tire and measured them, so i ended up haveing to buy new wheels. I could have just got a set of 285's and put them on my stock wheels and been farther ahead. They do perform good on the road with little noise, but they are by no means a mud tire. They require a very heavy foot when off road and dont have much directional control. I do have about 15k on them and they are wearing very good. If you are putting them on a show truck they are fine, but a serious off roader will be dissapointed.

Land Cruiser 79 Pick up - BFG Mud KM2
I travel extensively in Southern Africa. This includes Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho, South Africa, Mozambique. My last set of tires did 63 000 miles. This included tarmac as well as gravel roads. I run 285/75/ R16's and will never run any other brand tire.....ever. I have never had a sidewall puncture and really enjoy the confidence I have to travel off the road into the veld and bush without hesitation. Working with cattle and wild animals my vehicle is tested every day and thus the tires need to be on par with the reliability of my Land Cruiser. Thanks for an excellent product...
