Review Summary
The tires excel in off-road conditions like mud, rocks, snow, and ice, providing impressive traction and durability. They also perform well on-road, with good wet and dry traction, though some users note they may wear faster and have a harsher ride when used primarily on paved roads. Overall, the tires are versatile and capable, handling both daily driving and off-road adventures.

TUFF TYRE
I fitted these to our Nissan Patrol a couple of years ago, since then we have been on some of the toughest tracks in Australia, including the Canning stock route & Cape York. We have completed almost 30,000k's on them, not 1 punture, no balance problems, no vibration, very little road noise for a mud tyre, all this with unbelievable traction, they certainly get my vote. Regards Kevin

Great Tire
I put the 35" MT2's on a new 08 Dodge 2500 4x4 Diesel at 150 miles and just replaced them at 49,850 miles, not becuase they were bald but because I was ready to look at new tires. I do believe I could have gotten another 5K miles out of them. Never had a flat, they were great and lasted much longer than I expected. I did rotate every 5K miles and balanced about 3 times.

WOW!!!
WOW!!! i have always owned a 4x4 and have had several off road tires and let me say these are hands down the best! i have had them on a f250 super duty 4x4 off road which is a very heavy truck. most off road tires last 30-40k at best. these are 400 miles short of 60k, yes wore out for off road but still show tread. cup very little! lazy only rotated 3 times. waiting on a cool 60 to get a new set. cant wait to let the tire shop see them and the odometer...lol... and OMG very quite for an agressive tire. never been stuck in them and i use them and drive them very hard. great road maners, my wife loves them. well worth the money. if you buy anything else, well sorry for you, ill pass you on the trail someday. mike

KM2 Road Noise...
Mostly used on road, from postings on Ranger Sites I determined they would be a good tire for both on and off road applications. They work great in the mud and in the snow, traction is good and rock are made little with these tires. Purchased and mounted on my 03 Ranger, they work great off-road but the on-road noise is too much. Problem: One big one… The tire can not be purchased in a load rating that will work on a small truck. The ride is too hard, too much bounce, the side walls have no give. I lowered the pressure but the side walls are too stiff for any flex. My truck is a lite weight but IMHO there is no excuse for not offering these tires in a lower load range for the little trucks. From here I have no choice but go to another company to get a 285x75x16R with a load range of "C".

So much for the stronger sidewalls...
I had so much trouble with the delicate sidewalls on my KM1's that I almost didn't return for the KM2. The traction was decent, and they wore very well for an offroad tire, but I'd split three sidewalls in five years of fairly mild wheeling my 3000# Cherokee. But when BFG introduced the KM2, they bragged about the strengthened sidewalls, so I gave them another chance. Now I've split two of the KM2's in six months. And the kicker: BFG doesn't even have replacements available. So I can buy another tire, or I can park the rig (my daily driver) until BFG gets around to making another batch. Guess which I'm doing? Bye bye, BFG...

Good Tires
I actually bought my 93 Jeep Grand Cherokee with these on already. Riding a 4inch lift with almost brand new KM2's size 31x10.5 around. They are loud on the road, but for me, I love the sound of them. These things are legit in Texas clay when I take my Jeep mudding. I have yet to get stuck and blame it on my tires (usually a clearance issue). I'm about to get a new set of tires, but only a set of All Terrains because I want a new look for my Jeep. But I don't think they will sling mud nearly as well as these tires have for me.

Only tire I will buy
I put the 31x10.5s on my single cab 2wd Ranger. I put about 4k miles on them and are still at the original 19/32nds. Even with one wheel peel, I've still yet to get stuck. A lot of people say mud tires aren't good in the rain, but I've never had any problems with these. They aren't that loud for a mud tire. I did notice a decrease in gas mileage, but thats only because they're much bigger than stock tires.
