Review Summary
Customers praise the tires for their remarkably quiet highway performance and exceptional traction in wet, snowy, and icy conditions, with many highlighting confident off-road grip on gravel and mud. However, a substantial group reports severe balancing issues requiring multiple attempts and causing vibration above 65 mph, with some needing excessive weight. Several compare unfavorably to the previous model, citing weight penalties and reduced performance. Despite these concerns, most customers consider the traction and quiet ride worthwhile for all-terrain use.

Quality out of balance
I bought a set of 4 for my 2020 Silverado 1500 LT Z71. After having them mounted by Discount Tire there was an immediately noticeable vibration from one of the rear tires (or both maybe) at speeds above 60 mph. I took it back to get road force balanced 3 times. Discount tire replaced the two rear tires with new and one of those had the same issue. After my second attempt to get the new tires rebalanced I was forced to go in another direction. It seems balancing issues are quite common with this tire, which makes me feel like there may be a quality control issue. I really wanted to like this tire. They looked great, very quiet, great traction. Good luck getting 4 good ones though. I replaced with a set of NITTO tires which balanced out just fine.
We're sorry to hear about your experience with the All-Terrain T/A KO3 tires. We understand how frustrating it can be to encounter persistent vibration. BFGoodrich off-road tires feature tighter beads to help prevent unseating during off-road use, and in some cases improper bead seating during installation can contribute to vibration issues. We appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear you were pleased with the tire's appearance. Do Better
I am a certified master Automotive Tech. I had installed ko2 and had tried a million times to balance the tires , my truck always had a shake to it and you could literally watch the hop on the balancer! Note: performed road force balance! I swore off bf Goodrich. My buddy bought a set for his 26 colorado and swore by them. They look really good so I thought I'd give them a chance again! Same crap as I bought before! They are a heavier tire than what comes stock so expected a gas mileage change as it did by 2 liters/100 k, these tires were fairly expensive and I've balanced twice, watching the hop in the tire, very disappointed in these tires! If I could have sent them back I would have! They look good but do better!
We're sorry to hear that your experience with the All-Terrain T/A KO3 tires has been disappointing. We understand how frustrating it can be to invest in a premium set of tires and continue to experience vibration and balance issues. BFGoodrich designs its off-road tires with tighter beads to prevent unseating. This is critical especially when tires are aired down for off-roading. Problems might arise if the tires aren’t seated properly. We recommend reviewing this quick video tutorial of proper install https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPZcVeJQaOc If additional support is needed, our Consumer Care team would be glad to help. Endless vibrations
Like several other customers, I'm having trouble getting these tires balanced. After 3 regular balancing and 1 road-force attempt, the vibration at 65-70 mph just won't go away. Luckily, they are still under warranty. The tires don't even have 500 miles.

Rock magnets
Good tire but they pick up so many rocks on a gravel rock. Rocks fly out for a good 5 minutes once you hit the highway.
Balanced just fine
Great tire sounds like Yall need to learn how to balance 😂

FAQ
OE Code: FOR = Ford, GM = General Motors
Government UTQG Ratings do not apply to light truck sized tires.
>> The sizes shown are average design values for tires measured on specified measuring rim widths. Some tires may vary from this value by +/-3% of the section height (affecting overall diameter), and +/-4% of the section width.
>> Section width varies approximately 0.2" (5mm) for every 0.5" change in rim width.
>> Tread patterns are often tuned to accommodate different tire widths. Tires for a particular dimension of a given tireline may vary in appearance from the tire shown in the photograph.
WARNING: Serious or fatal injury may result from tire failure due to underinflation or overloading. To ensure correct air pressure and vehicle load, refer to vehicle owner's manual or tire information placard on the vehicle. Serious injury or death may result from explosion of tire/rim assembly due to improper mounting. Only tire professionals should mount tires and they should never inflate beyond 40 psi to seat the beads. Before mixing types of tires in any configuration on any vehicle, be sure to check the vehicle owner's manual for its recommendations. No tire is indestructible. An impact can cause a tire to fail, resulting in serious injury or death. Consult your tire owner's manual for proper maintenance instructions.
When replacing an Original Equipment P-Metric or Euro Metric size tire with an LT-metric or High Flotation size tire, the air pressures of the LT-metric / High Flotation tire must be adjusted in order to properly carry the load of the vehicle. See your BFGoodrich Tires dealer for the proper air pressure recommendation.
DANGER: Never mount a 16" diameter tire on a 16.5" rim.
DANGER: Never mount a 17" diameter tire on a 17.5" rim.
Inflation pressure increase must not exceed the maximum pressure branded on the tire sidewall. When a customer requests a replacement tire with a lower speed rating than the original equipment tire, you must clearly communicate to him or her that the handling of the vehicle may be different, and that its maximum speed capability is limited to that of the lowest speed-rated tire on the vehicle. Exceeding the lawful speed limit is neither recommended nor endorsed.
For high-speed driving, additional inflation pressure and possibly reduced tire loading and/or upsizing is required. In the absence of specific recommendations by the vehicle manufacturer, use the following guidelines based on those in the European Tyre and Rim Technical Organization Standards Manual.
For speeds over 160km/h (100 mph), load and inflation must be adjusted according to the table below.
Q-Speed Rated Sizes:
| Maximum Speed (km/h) | 100 |
| Inflation Increase (psi) | 0.0 |
| Load Capacity (% of max.) | 100 |
| Maximum Speed (km/h) | 100 | 106 |
| Inflation Increase (psi) | 0.0 | 1.0 |
