Review Summary
Customers overwhelmingly praise exceptional all-terrain traction in snow, mud, and ice, with many reporting 60,000 to over 100,000 miles of durability and quiet highway performance. Reviewers consistently highlight confident handling across diverse conditions and low road noise compared to competitors. However, a notable minority report premature tread wear as early as 15,000 miles and sidewall cracking within two years, suggesting potential manufacturing inconsistencies. Some also mention persistent balancing issues. Despite these concerns, most customers consider the overall performance and longevity worthwhile and remain loyal repeat buyers.

New Tire Trial
Wow! I just purchased a set of the KO2s for my 2024 Tacoma TRD Off Road and after hearing all these bad reviews it makes me wonder if I’ll go through the same issue and treatment. I pick up my truck tomorrow and second guessing myself. We’ll see. I only gave 3 stars because the way these customers have been treated. If your tires have any issues it doesn’t matter what the problem was, it’s a warranty issue and needs to be replaced. I ran Cooper A/Ts for over 10 years and very happy with them. I decided to try out the BFGoods to see how they perform here in the PACNORWEST. Crossing my fingers.

Side wall cracking
Within a year of purchasing i had only one tire start developing side wall cracks. I purchased the warranty from the tire shop, but was told everything under the sun to why it was not covered. I have never done "off roading" just paved and unpaved roads. I am writing today because the tire has finally stopped holding pressure.

Impossible to balance. Death wobble on highway
These tires are impossible to balance
We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand how concerning this must be, especially when driving at highway speeds. Difficulty balancing and vibration can sometimes be related to factors such as mounting, wheel condition, or vehicle alignment. BFGoodrich designs its off-road tires with tighter beads to prevent unseating. This is critical especially when tires are aired down for off-roading. Problems might arise if the tires aren’t seated properly. We recommend sharing a quick video tutorial of proper install with your dealer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPZcVeJQaOc If additional support is needed, our Consumer Care team would be glad to assist. Very dangerous blowout 0 stars
Blew out with 36k miles on it at 65mph on a very dangerous interstate with no shoulder and no cell signal. Did not hit anything, tires were properly inflated. Big O would not warranty. Stay away from BFG. Very dangerous. Just happy to be uninjured.

Very Happy
These tires are great in all aspects. There is not much road noise at all. I have wanted a set for a long time and I am very happy with them.

By all means necessary
Tires performance as expected.

Not round tires!
I have owned and 4 sets of KO2s but my last set have been a nightmare :( after 10k miles and failing road force so bad the Hunter machine was maxing out I had enough and made BFG take them back. The truck has never really driven right since getting them on a year ago constant vibrations at highway speed. I had my differential randomly go out on me on the highway and I do no heavy towing I found it weird as it cracked the G80 housing. So after rebuilding and re gearing I took it in to have balance and discount informed me two tires were unsafe to continue on.

Ko2 suck. Why blow money on ko3.
When new, they were okay in 1"-4" snow for a dually. On season 2, all 6 tires vibrate because they are all cupped on tread. They suck halfway into lifespan. Have always been wobbly. Sometimes drivers wheel felt like I was driving my sea ray. Why try ko3 when they robbed customers that paid for quality and didnt get it. Going back toMichelin.
We’re sorry to hear about the vibration and cupping you’ve described. We recommend visiting an authorized BFGoodrich tire dealer for a full inspection of the tires and vehicle. You may also contact our Consumer Care team so we can review your concerns and discuss available options. You can reach us at 866-866-6605 (Mon–Fri 8 AM–7 PM EST, Sat 9 AM–1 PM EST).
