Went to get 4 tires balanced and had never been here before to start. And when i first showed up the staff still came and helped carry some of my wheels inside the shop without hesitation. 10/5 stars for customer service. Along with the good pricing and quality of work done in a short amount of time i would totally come back again and recommend to everyone who needs any tire work done to come here:)

I needed my brakes done urgently and Big O was able to find me an appointment the next day. What really makes this review five stars is that when they there was issues with the piston when taking off the brakes, they kept me up-to-date by calling within five minutes of the set time agreed upon update call time, ordered a part express and even offered to supply a rental car on them as this was all unexpected. I will return to this business!

My husband took our car in to get our winter tires put on. He was able to get in quickly and they performed the job efficiently. However, I noticed that our tires were not balanced properly. My husband when in a few weeks later (as he was advised that he would have to go in to make sure the lug nuts had not come lose) and mentioned the balance/alignment was off to which the staff did not check or seem to care about. We then had to go to the dealership in Nanaimo to fix the balance and pay extra. Is that not part of the service of putting tires on a car? If not, maybe make it clear that you need to take your car into another dealership to confirm the tires are balanced? Thanks!

Was way better service when Tim owned it. New owners aren’t very welcoming to new and old customers. Spent over 3 grand on new tires when Tim owned the shop and he was great with the purchase. Came back a few months later after Tim retired as I had a screw in my tire and these new guys wanna charge to get it fixed. Every tire shop I’ve been to allows free repairs if you’ve bought from them. A simple screw in the tire, a quick fix should not warrant another fee after spending quite a bit not that long ago. Guy behind the counter seemed alright but whoever they got in the little office behind needs to learn some customer service skills, coming out from you hideout awkwardly looking at the customers not saying a word won’t bring back the valuable customers Tim worked hard to acquire over the years.

Had a broken lock nut on the car. And told me they were over torque which they were instead of 80lbs they were torque to 85lbs. And said they couldn't get them off. So took car home and pulled them off in 10 min they told me 3 hours. They need to get the right tools to do the job
