Came in for a safty for my car and they tried to scam me. It has 40 000km and they refused to pass the safty because the Teck said the breakes are warped. Than he shows me under the car. The break router has a lip and says thats why the breaks are pulsing. I'm like no. That is normal for routers. I fix my own cars and trucks but don't have a license to do the official paper worked. They just tried to scam me for more money. Would not recommend this place. I knew it was to good to be true when they said I could come in the next day after calling other shops it was a 2 week wait time. Edit: I agree the tires are older and had uneven surfaces. The story you tried to sell me on the breaks were a total SCAM and deal breaker. It's funny how your reply had said nothing about that. Edit #2: Had another shop look at the car and it passed with ZERO problems. How does a car go from failing and needing thousands of dollars to having no problems a week later? Easy. People trying to take advantage. Never going to this location again and I hope you reading this never does too.

This Active Green & Ross location is fantastic.  They are very knowledgeable, timely and efficient.  I have been using this Dundas location for many years and they never disappoint.  The place is clean and comfortable for anyone who chooses to wait around for their car.  They really do their best to get you a price that is fair and also work hard realizing your car needs to be back into your hands asap.

Amazing service from the Green and Ross team at Dundas West- always take the time to explain what’s needed, they provide options and give choices. I never feel I pressured and they provide solid advice on what’s urgent now or items that can wait. I am provided options on which parts to use. I have been using them now for the last 3+ years and been several times for repairs, services and tire swaps. Thank you!

I went to this location to have my winter tires put on. My winter tires were on their own rims. Before installing I was notified that two of my tires needed replacement. No problem. The tires were ordered and eventually installed. A couple of weeks later, one of the new tires begins to lose air. So I refill it and while doing so I checked the air pressure of the other tires. Two of my tires were at 36 psi, one of my tires was at 30 psi, and one of my tires… The leaky one… Was at 20 psi. I took the leaky tire to a different dealership to repair and they informed me that the stem valve had been cut on some rusty edges around the rim. The new place told me that active green and Ross should have removed rust buildup on the rim in that area to prevent this from happening. It’s also evident that two of my tires were over inflated by six psi! This tells me that the tire pressures were not even checked at the time of changeover. Why would they over inflate my tires? The correct psi is written right on the inside of the driver side door. This just tells me that they don’t know what they’re doing. So I won’t be returning.

Nothing but problems with this place. First they ordered the wrong size winter tires for my car after having the right ones in the booking order, confirming the right one on the phone, then in person confirming at least 3 times and printing out a paper with confirmation too. They also didn’t realize that they didn't have the right tires until 2 hours after of having my car. New winter tires and an oil change should not take 5 hours when they were not busy. 2 days later my car gets a notification that the oil is too full. Now I have to pay for a whole new oil change. Big waste of time and money for a job that couldn’t be done right the first time. I’m so disappointed.
