Massive vibration problems

These tires had massive vibration problems out of the box. The tire shop road force balanced them 3 times, and could never get under 30 even with a ton of weight. The tires vibrated so badly at 70mph that my truck was literally un-drivable. I felt like I was driving paint shaker. I ended up doing a warranty return only 500 miles in and exchanged for some Nitto Terra Grappler G3s, which are smooth as glass. I don’t know if BFG is currently having manufacturing issues or what, but the issues I experienced seem to be alarmingly common amongst other customers in the last few months. I would stay far away from this tire until they figure it out. It’s a shame, because I was once a loyal BFG customer from the KO2 days. Seems something went horribly wrong with these new KO3s.

No go

One of the worst I’ve had for a winter tire. Ok on mud. I would never buy these again I don’t feel safe in winter. Might as well put my skates on. I’ll be removing them this fall.

Poor balancing

Absolutely 💯 junk from day 1, they wont balance after 3 shops. BF knows this!!! Less than 10k miles on these and I wouldn't give them away.

Great in the wet

Way better wet traction than KO2s and especially the competitors I took off. Those were like ice skates. I can't really talk about durability as Ive had them 4 months but I have gone wheeling twice and haven't had any issues.

Jury is out on these.....3.8/5 isn't good.....fingers crossed

Well BFG....I've waited and now have the C rated OEM 37s on my Raptor. Turns out DT used a lot of weights to balance these 66 lb tires. Taking them off road this week and will update my review after 500 miles in the Mojave

Find something else

I bought an E load set of these tires for my 23 GMC 3500 AT4 knowing the common complaint of balancing these tires. That seemed to be the only issues I could find online so I asked Kal-Tire prior to purchasing if they had experienced any issues with balancing and they said no so I went ahead with the purchase. Looks wise, these tires are fantastic, however that is about as far as I can give credit. Within 7000 kms the tires had to be balanced 2 more times from excessive shaking at 90-110 km'h as well as they started to wear like they were deteriorating excessively and appeared to be failing (even with a perfect wheel alignment) so I went back to Kal Tire and they were warrantied. The second set I had put on were smooth on the highway right off the hop so I was super happy, however that is quickly where that ended. I currently have less than 800 km on these new replacements and I noticed the sidewall had a hole looking defect to it. Upon further inspection, the sidewall was crumbling in 1mm pieces like coarse black pepper or even parmesan cheese when touching it with your finger. I again have had to go back to Kal Tire who immediately said that is a defect for sure. I now do not trust this brand and I never should have purchased these. I cannot get a refund on these tires from BFG so I am basically out $2500. Just stay away from these tires cause in my experience, the quality control on these is less than subpar. Should have stuck with Toyo AT3

Unable to balance

Unable to get a smooth ride from the tires. I have had them balanced 3 times and I still get shaking at certain speeds. This is my 4th set of BFGs and highly disappointed with this set.
