Review Summary
The tires provide excellent handling, stability, and traction, even in wet conditions. Many customers have used them on classic and muscle cars for years with great satisfaction. However, a common complaint is that the raised white letters on the tires tend to turn brown over time, despite cleaning efforts, which may be a deterrent for some customers.

I love the tire. It grips the road great and it makes the handling feel so much better. It last very long and has good wet traction.

I bought these while restoring my 1968 Ford Falcon and they're better than I ever could have expected. The quality is very good and the grip is amazing. It's got a warmed over 289 small block with aftermarket intake and 4bbl carb which should easily break the tires loose at any stop sign, but the tires hold the pavement like glue and provide as much grip as I could ever want. Even going around corners on concrete in the rain, the car holds the road like nothing else. I'm not sure exactly how much the gas mileage changed due to the tires since I put them on right when I got the car, but the wear is also very good. I've been using it as my daily driver for almost 10 months now and can't see any visible tread wear (even after a few burnouts).

I started out buying my 1968 Cougar and it had a set of your competitors tires on it. After talking to my Step-father who was around in the hay-day of Muscle Cars, he told me i couldn't go wrong with a set of radial t/a's. He was wrong, not in the sense that something went wrong, but that these are the only tires im ever going to put on ther car. Thanks BF Goodrich for making a relatively inexpensive tire that outperforms much more expensive tires.

I am very pleased with ability of the BFG Radial T/A to handle the load of a big truck such as my 72 chevy suburban c-10

The rating s/b 4.5 stars ...
The rating s/b 4.5 stars instead of only 4. I replaced a set of Goodyear tires and it was as if I had bought a new car. There was such a difference in the road noise, handling and performance that I made a huge step up in cars with only buying tires.

These are basically ...
These are basically everything I need in a tire for a car of this class, Unlike the previous brand of tire installed on the car, they tend to handle the aggressive style of driving I do quite well - hard acceleration on the highway, quick lane changes from time to time, occasional hard stops. What really impresses me the most, however, is the poor weather handling. For these tires being seemingly run-of-the-mill passenger car tires at the place of purchase and the salesperson downplaying their poor weather handling characteristics over a set of tires costing at least 75% more, they handled a Missouri highway covered in snow and slush quite well. The only negative I can think of is they are louder than a comparable set of tires on my wife's car, but that may be attributed to this set being about an inch wider than her set is. All in all, these weren't my first set of BFGoodrich tires, and they aren't my last - this set convinced me to put a set of Goodrich tires on my Jeep as well.

I was nervous about purchasing the BF Goodrich Traction T/A on my 02 Pontiac Firebird but, after rolling the dice. THIS TIRE IS AMAZING! The ride is much quiter than the Kuhmos that were on the car when I bought it. This Firebird wants to take a turn on a dime now. Much better than the Kuhmos were on wet roads. The Traction T/A lives up to its name "traction" also, it is offered at a much better price than any other brand names. If you want a tire to get around town in; have some grip that will last, stop looking and get this tire! Enough said.

tires are rated for 50,000 miles I used the tires to there max wear limits and then some. The quality of the extend use never failed even during wet braking. I will purchase another set again and again.
