Review Summary
The BFGoodrich all-terrain tires offer excellent off-road performance, with strong traction in mud and snow, and long-lasting tread life of up to 70,000 miles. Customers report a smooth, quiet ride on the highway, though a few noted increased road noise compared to previous models. While most users are satisfied, a minority experienced issues with tread wear, balance problems, and poor wet weather handling.

Gunit, Thanks for writing a review. Sorry your experience with the KM3 wasn't a good one. We hope that you will consider BF Goodrich tires again in the future.

All 4 shot at 7052 miles!
Bought the 255/85 16" for my Ford Explorer Sport 2dr. All 4 tires were totalled at 7052 miles .. they couldn't be balanced and all tires had a pronounced 'hump' on the balancing machine.
Sonny1597, we're sorry to hear this. We don't have a case to indicate we have discussed this issue with you or your retailer to initiate a warranty claim. We recommend that the tires be inspected by your local retailer. Have them contact us while you are there.

Blown sidewall
Weak sidewalls, bought because I hoped they were tougher than stock bighorns but after 2 months and normal recreational driving already have two sidewalls with punctures.
Rzrturbo21, we'e sorry to read that you have had two tires to have punctures. A member of our team will be in touch via email.

12 uears and still rolling
I bought a set of 4 35x12.5x15 km2's in 2010. The truck sat for 4 for the last 12 years but easily over 60k miles hardball driving and 10k miles off roading or mudding and i still have ¾" worth of tread. Upgrading to km3's soon and hear they are better than the km2's. Extremely happy with this tire design. Lasts forever
Docgreeny, this is awesome! Thanks so much for taking the time to share your comments. Just a word of caution though, we recommend replacing tires after 10 years strictly due to age, regardless of the tread remaining.

Awesome mileage and off-road toughness/traction
I bought these for my 2017 Colorado ZR2 in 285/70/17 (E load) when they first came out in June of 2018. Overall, I got 66,000 miles out of them. They could have gone another 5k miles or so, but I believe I potentially got a slightly defective tire, as it has worn unevenly and is not perfectly round. Thus, there is now too much vibration to continue driving on this set. The other three tires in the set have worn and performed perfectly. The worst of the tires is pictured below. I always rotated the tires during oil changes. However, I elected to live with the “bad” tire and it was fine. It only became a problem in the last month due to the vibrations in the cab and steering wheel because of the imperfect shape. This was a very early set of KM3s so I’m not upset or surprised by this, as I think it is bound to happen. I took these tires to MOAB and on other off-road trails and they were very tough and had great traction. I’m giving 4 stars because the on-road ride quality leaves a bit to be desired, between the noise and vibration I experienced. I have since moved from CA to CO and need better snow traction. So I swapped out the KM3s for KO2s. Sticking with BFGoodrich!!! Don’t let my story stray you from these tires. Overall, they were awesome! I just have different needs now. I would also recommend a C load rating if you drive a smaller vehicle like mine. The E was a bit stiff for my truck (running at 38 psi).

More information required on website
Looking on website to find out if my existing rims would suit new, wider tires. No information on website about what range of rim widths suit what tires. This is surely meant to be available SOMEWHERE, or are we meant to guess? (Australian purchaser)

Why I bought these
Mostly because of the vid BFG made, showing the sidewall resistance to cuts and punctures. There are times when you cannot change a flat, cannot even stop, cannot avoid something sharp, and are fully loaded or grossly overloaded. When it's life and death. What's an extra hundred per tire against that? Others may be as good, but where's the video proof?

They made me feel special
I came in for tires but was treated like family, love the tires

Best in class
Tread life, traction, handling & cornering. Always KO's #1
