Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 TIRE REVIEW

Surprisingly quiet

I bought my first set of the K02 in 2016 at the suggestion of the retailer/installer (NTB). I found them to be surprisingly quiet compared to the slightly more expensive tires that were replaced. I just replaced those and they had 70k on them and still had plenty of remaining tread for about 10k more.

265 Km3 on tacoma

I have had this tires just over a year. They were awesome. Great in mud, rock, the road. Snow they are great in fresh snow on trails not so much on the road. After 25,000 the story change. My truck is always shaking now there load. I’ve had to rotate them and balance 4 times in 6months. I am definitely going back to the KO2

Came from KO2's

I've had these for about 10,000 miles now and they still look new. I came from 285/70/17 KO2's in E load range on my 4Runner, and I've got the same size and also E load of these now. I had the KO2's for 60,000 miles and would absolutely recommend those to anyone who is on the fence about them. But, for what I use my vehicle for, I decided to try mud terrains on my daily driver. I was very anxious about that, and oh man. These tires are perfect. They ride smoother than my previous tires, and somehow my road noise is a bit less also. They are fantastic on road, but off road is a night and day difference. I absolutely love these tires. I would 100% recommend.

Beefy tread pattern

Just bought these for my S-10 pickup. I really love the aggressive tread pattern of the new KO2's. As well, there is no loud noise while traveling at higher speeds. I see lot's of improvements with these and I hope they last 50,000 miles as my last KOs did.

Hunter road force balancing needed

These have been great for traveling off road in the desert southwest but I had a heck of a time getting them balanced. And now that they are, hopefully no more problems. Long story short: get Hunter road force balancing done with a shop that cares, are experts, do what they say they’ll do and take pride in their work the first and every time.

Out of round

Bought these in Feb. finally put on and have less than 100 miles on them. Out of round. Jeep wobbles. Contacted bfg. Being replaced but still won’t be able to drive my Jeep again for another 1-2 months. Going back to Nittos. Never an issue with those.

Great Tires!

I bought these for my 2003 F-150. Great off road traction and surprisingly quiet on the highway. I definitely recommend these tires!

Miles of Confidence

I bought these KM3’s 2 months ago. So far they have been in the snowy mountains, icy pavement, heavy rain downpours on the highway, deep mud, and just recently sand. I have ran them at 50 psi with no sway and they absorb bumps well at speed. After 5k miles I project them to reach 65k miles... but that is a very very early projection. Anything over 50k miles and there is no competition in the mud terrain tire category.

Amazing off road traction

have a set of 35x12,5r17LT on my F-150 was slightly concerned about road noise but they are extremely quiet. Amazing traction in mud and rocks. not as good as the Ko2s in snow but definitely not an issue driving through hard packed snow.
