Review Summary

The BFGoodrich all-terrain tires offer excellent off-road performance, with strong traction in mud and snow, and long-lasting tread life of up to 70,000 miles. Customers report a smooth, quiet ride on the highway, though a few noted increased road noise compared to previous models. While most users are satisfied, a minority experienced issues with tread wear, balance problems, and poor wet weather handling.

OK tires for Rock crawling

I have around 40k miles on my 37" Tires and they still have around 5k miles left The tires a difficult to balance but running quiet on the road Offrad in the rocks they ripping out big chunks of rubber what's concerning Those tires are more like a true 35" tire and not a 37" tire Will probably try a different Brand next time

Vibration, cannot be balanced

These are some of the worst tires I've ever owned. Vibrated from day 1, and cannot be effectively balanced out. They ride like they are made of rock, even in their lower load rating. I was surprised by how little noise they made, but that's about the only positive thing I can say about them. I'll definitely be avoiding BFG products in the future.

Does what I ask...

First let me say that I believe that mine is a near perefect test case for these tires. I installed these tires while towing a large 5th wheel trailer through Albequerqe, enroute to Salt Lake. Date Code (3315) on the sidewall of tire indicates the tires were made the 33rd week of 2015. Got on the interstate and they did a great job (no sway or crabbing) all the way to SLC. My truck is not a daily driver. Used mainly for hauling RV trailers for business. I religiously rotate my tires with every oil change (3K to 5K). Wear has consistently been even all along. I camp with my family 5 to 7 times a year pulliing a 12K pound fifth-wheel trailer LOADED! (no issues whatsoever). I average 600 miles a month (7176 yearly) driving the truck (2006 Dodge Laramie 2500 Megacab) around town and camping occasionally. Today, I am 53 months into these tires. They show some small signs of cracking at the rim line I have driven them for 31,705 miles (more than 20,000,00 reviolutions so far) and the ride is getting hard to ignore ('kidney punches' if you will at every railroad crossing and pothole) so I Iowevered the tire pressure from 70psi (pulling trailers) to 60 when not pulling. I am somewhat dissappointed that 31K is all of the miles I got out of them, but I admit pulling trailers has hastened the wear a little not to mention the crazy torque a diesel engine can put on the tires WHILE pulling a large trailer through the rocky mountains. I don't do burnouts and I don't 'horse' my truck around town (too old for that). After lowering the pressure, the ride improved a little but is still hard. Tread depth guage (see pic) indicates I am exiting the 'green' (ok to drive) zone and entering the 'yellow' zone meaing I could if I wanted to... probably coax another year out of these tires but... With all I have to lose by playing the 'safe tire' game including the whole family loaded and leaving town, I will not risk it and will replace the tires this month. They have been great. This tire pattern has been around FOREVER (I first saw it in the 80's) and honestly it is dumb and superficial but I am a little tired of this tread pattern. No complaints at all but I may look for a little more aggressive (Mud Terrain) tire that is still quiet (relatively) on the highway.

Jeep Gladiator got a fresh set of 35s

Have been riding on BFG all terrains and muds for my 3 jeeps and dodge truck for at least the last 10 years. Never had a complaint, easy decision to go with KM3s for this purchase!

Great overall! But a bit pricey

I went from KO2s to these KM3s on a 2004 LR Discovery. 265/75-16. I have gone off road, city, and highway. Off road they are great! They shed mud much better than the ATs did I find. On road, well you hear them more, especially at city speeds but it's not bad. Highway they are not bad either. Slight humming but overall very pleased with how they behave on road too!

Bought BF Goodrich tires again

I drive a 1979 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40 that I have had for 30 years, and it has always had BF Goodrich tires on it. I first put All Terrains on it at 66,000 miles and have since put a total of 3 sets of All Terrains and one set of Mud Terrains KM's on it. I just put a set of Mud Terrain KM3's on it today (at 250,000 miles) as the previous KM's have become too old. I wasn't driving it much and not paying attention to the age of the tire and realized that they were 11 years old. Not once have I ever been stranded due to a tire related problem, The only time I have to use a jack is when I rotate the tires. I have been extremely please with all the tires, but even more so with these latest KM3's. Unbelievably quiet and smooth riding, There has been a huge change since the original KM. This will probably be the last set of tires I'll put on the vehicle but my grandson will probably enjoy them since he will be the next to own it.

Not as advertised

I bought a full set of 5 for my Rubicon. I went with the LT315/70R17/ E 121Q tires. I wanted 35 inch tires and the Goodrich website stated these tires at 34.4 inches. I thought that was close enough. Got my tires and drove them for a bit and then thought I would just check the tire height. Imagine my surprise when I measure them fully inflated (37psi) at 33.0 inches even. Not even close to the 34.4 stated on the website. Love the tires, but wanted the tire height.

Great all around Tire

I have 11 months and 65,000kms on my set of tires. I have ran them mainly on the hi-way, but up here in Canada I have driven in freezing rain, 30 below and ice covered roads, heavy rain, mud, gravel, and dry pavement. I have yet to find a condition that I don't find them to be very predictable. I am running them on a 2018 Jeep JL Rubicon, and they are at about 1/2 life. I am very pleased with them. I am 55 and have ran the BFG Mud tires for years, from about 1996 on. The only negative that I see is that one of the tires has one tread that has a cup in it, but I do not count that, I do use them hard.

All around great tire

I have these ties on my '18 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel in 12.5x33R17. I've had these tires for a year now and put 32,000 miles on them. I've driven them on every type of terrain from hard-ball pavement (wet and dry), mud, snow, ice, gravel and everything in between. These tires have tackled everything beautifully and do especially well in mud and fresh snow (kind of a given). On ice they're great, but slide a bit. On the road they are more quiet than other mud terrains, but of course have some tire whine. The wear rate on these tires is outstanding! Like I said, I have 32k miles on these and they're still at about 50% tread left. Fuel mileage dropped significantly (26.8 mi/gal freeway down to 22.1 mi/gal) but that's too be expected. I would recommend these tires to anyone.

Nothing beats them in the snow!

I have always bought the All terrain for my four wheel drives and they’ve never let me down. I wouldn’t run anything else
