All-Terrain T/A KO2 TIRE REVIEW

NOT GOOD

Have a 2021 3/4 ton diesel and bought them 27,000 km ago and they need to be replaced. Poor tire for vehicles that have torque. I drive 50/50 gravel and highway and don't pull heavy loads. Will be looking at different tires when I replace them. They would be good tires for half ton trucks

Exceptional Tire!

I’ve been running BFG all terrain tires since the late 80’s. Full size Bronco, 4Runner, Land Cruiser, Tahoe, Range Rover, multiple 4x4 gas and diesel trucks and now my 2018 GMC Sierra with a CST 4.5” Lift wrapped with 35x12.5” KO2’s. Absolutely OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE second to none. I’ve tried other brand tires and always returned them switching back to BFG KO2’s. I’ll never go on a long mountain road trip without a set of KO2’s on my rigs. Thank you BFG, YOU ROCK!

Durable

I have 55k on my original set of KO2's and have been very pleased with their performance and wear. I live on a gravel road and have them rotated every 5k on my Jeep Rubicon and they have lasted longer than any other tires I've had on other vehicles. Am currently experiencing a slow leak on 1 tire, happens to be the one that is worn the most, so once a week I'm topping it off. Going to purchase another 4 and hope for the same good luck as I've had with these.

new set hurt the rating.......

I have had a couple of sets of these tires. 2017 Tundra and 2018 Ram 2500. i will say that when it comes tp performance in both snow and back mountains in the Smokeys they are great. But after my last set being installed about 8 months ago i have to question the value now that the Ram needs to have them replaced. I have always gotten good milage out of these, but now only 8 months....... not to happy. might be trying a new tire to see the difference.

Excellent in MN year round!

I've had these tires on my truck since fall of 2017 and ran them year round. No issues at all driving in blizzards, deep snow or ice. Did great in heavy rain. Also did some light off reading and they handled great in dirt, mud and rocky terrain. They're a comfy and quiet ride on the highway. They've way outlasted the warranty as I've got about 70,000 miles on them now. I'd love to buy another set but the prices have went up too much.

This is my second set of these tires. I’ve really been happy with the ride and the performance on and off the road.

I have been running BFG KO2's in the harsh desert of Arizona and New Mexico for years. The landscape and rocks are brutal on tires. When I have had a rare tire problem, BFG has taken care of me. I've run the Mud Terrains, and the All Terrains. The rocks and heat can sometimes trash the best tires. BFG has backed these tires when they have failed. If you run around in the Desert, even the best of the best will struggle sooner or later. BFG is at the top of performance, and more importantly to me, they are the top at standing behind their products.

Dry rot on sidewalk by the bead

I love these tires and rotate them every 5k or so. Was looking at them today and noticed dry rot by the bead on all 4 tires. This concerns me since I likely have another season worth of tread left. Tires are about4 years old. Guess I need to see what discount tire has to say. Hoping the warranty will cover a portion of the replacement.

Awesome looking. Out of balance every 1.5-2k miles

Was gonna wait till 10,000 miles but don’t want people waiting for this review.. Worst experience with tires. Never had a tire go out of balance so fast and wear down in the first 6k miles like the new bfgoodrich. Every 1500 miles I have to get my tires rebalanced and rotated because it Starts to shake so bad from going out of balance. Had my whole front end rebuilt (06tacoma) and 4 different shops look at it and balance the tires and they all say it’s the tires. Don’t waste your money on them, get general or another brand.
