BF Goodridge KO2 tires
The best tires for pickup trucks hands down. I've been buying these tires ( Baja champion ) and now KO2 since 2004 and never look back. I've been working on many mine sites ( diamond mine, Nickel mine, gold mine) in the northern Canadian arctic and most contractors including the mines companies - owners use the BF GOODRIDGE KO2. Mines mechanics superintendents swear by them so it means something, they are good. As good as the 11 plies tires for durability.

Love them!
I have had KO2s on full size 4WD trucks and I now run them on my new Subaru Outback Wilderness. They are a bit heavier and more noisy but that's to be expected. I have had these across sand dunes (deflated), deep mud, rock and in deep snow and they just can't be beat! I've read a couple state that they dry and crack but I've never had an issue in that regards. I highly recommend them.

Great tires
Very happy with them, Way better than stock in the snow.

Disappointing Life
Installed Dec 2016. Have under 40k km on them and they are dried out, and brutally loud any speed faster than 40kmh. Poor traction in rain, and not all that great in snow. Sure, they’re tough for the 1/4 of the year I get to get out fishing and exploring serviced logging roads. Initially these tires were quiet, but the now excess noise, additional unsprung weight and hit to fuel mileage doesn’t makeup for the durability. Sadly, the new Trail Terrain is just slightly lighter per tire. Next tires will be Continental Terrain Contact HT.

Never could have made the trip home out this tire!
I purchased 4 of the All_Terrain T/A KO2 tires for my 2018 Jeep Wrangler unlimited. We had to take my granddaughter's best friend home to Maine from upstate NY. They got about 1 mile using a rental AWD car only to find it couldn't even go up an incline with the show on the ground. They very slowly came back and used my Jeep for the trip. Trip went well getting to Maine... then even more snow came down resulting in most of the Mass Pike being closed due to the number of accidents, etc. Thus the switch to the two lane roads and while we passed a lot of vehicles off the road, or or unable to go up simple very gradual inclines we never had an issue. Even a number of 4 wheel drive pickups had problems with the snow and ice. The tires on my Jeep did exactly what the ads say - provided traction in snow and ice! It's easy to road test a tire but to count on the tires holding the road, getting you through the night back home is a different kind of test! I race sports cars thus have a feel for how good a tire is. I never really cared about what tires were on my Jeep till this time I counted on them getting me through the night and the snow storm! The local Mr Tire store convinced me to buy them as they were the best - their word - for the Jeep even if your not off roadi'ng it! They are amazing tires! This is also one of the few times I have ever reviewed a set of tires!

83000 miles and still ripping
5 year and 83000 miles on them in Hawaiian heat and Utah snow. Still rip up the canyon in 6 inches if snow with what tread I have left. Buying another set this week.

Warranty life vs real life.
I’m from Calgary Canada. The last three sets of tire I have purchase are KO2s. I’m in several Jeep and off road Facebook groups and I don’t remember the number of times I have recommended KO2s to anyone, everyone who’s looking for an all year round great tire. I even said I was the spoke person for them because for most part I was, they just didn’t know it. A couple weeks ago, in a KO2s posting, someone said they were garbage and removed them of his vehicle before he said they killed him. He said one came apart. I told him that running E rated tires at door pressures is dangerous and they should be at least 50psi or more except if you’re off roading and going really slow. Well I run mine at 60psi and when it get cold they may drop to 50psi. On one of my jeeps, I run 285/50/20”summer tires in the summer and put 265/65/17” KO2s on for winter only. Well last Thursday, Dec 8th/ 2022, on my way home, one of the KO2s self destructed. Ironic after just telling another owner, it was his fault the tire died. Well I went back to Costco, where I bought them to get another one. I told them I had bought them on Oct 17/2016 but they still have 9 to 10 32nds thread left so no where near 80,000 kms on them. 15/32” new so still 50% tread life left, and tires stored inside during summers. My Jeep is AWD/4WD so getting only one tire is only possible if it get it shaved to match 10/32” of others. Anyway I ordered two new ones but the guy at Costco told me to bring in my paperwork for the tire and the tire so the could confirm what I was telling them was correct. Today Dec 12/22 I brought the tire and receipt in to Costco, there was a different guy there, and I had to explained again, He even called the previous guy at home to tell him the info and verify the tire was toast but tread was 9-10 32s.After them talking, the guy told me that your five year warranty was up and Expired and it didn’t matter on the tread depth. Why did I have to bring anything in, I told them Oct17/2016 during the first visit; that was 6years and almost 2 months time span. I came home and logged onto this BF Goodridge site to see what the warranty really said and it’s 6 years/80,000 kms, not 5 year/80,000kms. My tires were stored indoors, out of the elements for more than half that 6 year period and at still 50% tread life, they had deteriorated to a dangerous level at less than 2 months over 6 years. I had ordered two new tires but now thinking I should get 4 news ones instead, as the remaining three may be time bombs. I still like these tires but now I might not be a spokesperson for them anymore. Most people wear them out before they time out but for me with several vehicles that have them on them, I have to watch for them timing out or if I get more than 40,000 kms out of them first. Your calendar below will not let me pick oct17/22.
