NEW TIRES!!

BF Goodrich KO2 - I'm back after trying a different tire
I used these tires on my previous and current trucks. Always were great for my applications of road and off-road, snow and ice conditions. A tough tire as I usually go for the 10-ply versions. My last tire change, I decided to try a different brand of tire in an effort to improve my fuel consumption. After two semi-satisfied to unhappy years, I have returned to my go-to tire. I went from a P275 60R 20 to LT285 70R 17 10-ply KO2 on a steel rim. Well, I'm happy again and confidence is restored, and I prefer the smaller rim and larger tire. For those going from a "P" tire to "LT" tire don't forget to calculate your new pressure as you will need higher pressure to maintain load rating (search online calculators). I'm running this LT tire at 42psi, as opposed to 35psi for the P275 tire. I'm back!
BFG AT KO2
Over the years, I don't know how many sets of these tires I've had on several different trucks now, I've lost count. Just put a new set on our '07 Xterra. They are awesome and always serve me well. They work great in the desert areas where we live and ride good on the highway. Haven't let me down yet and I intend to keep using them.

GREAT WEAR
I've had KO2s on my truck before. I love the wear on these tires. I probably could've gone another year on the tread but I tow heavy and the ones I had were 5 years old. Safety first.
Side wall cracked
Experience the same as others already stated. Sidewall cracked to a point I had to change it with a new tire.

GREAT TIRES
Good tread life
I have had a set of these tires on a full size truck for the last 80k miles. They have performed very well on the street and good on the fire roads and light snow. I recommend them for a 4x4 that is used for general purpose . As far as something aggressive I could not be sure. Hope this helps.
