EXCELLENT HANDLING
First set of BFG A/T KO2, actually first set of BFG's. Replaced a set of good years on a 2000 F-150 4x4. These KO2 have far excelled any tire ever owned on any vehicle, and I have had many vehicles over the years. Use mainly on highway and deep beach sand. These tires are quiet and extremely surefooted on pavement even in rain and at speed. Cannot wait to see how well they are in the ice and snow. The tires may be a little aggressive for the sand, I deflate to 16psi for the deep sand and the truck does not bog down at all. When I punch the gas they dig in and toss a good amount of sand out. Extremely pleased with purchase, these tires are definitely worth the $ investment $.

Best BFG All Terrain ever!
I have run BFG All Terrain's for the last 25 years on every type of vehicle imaginable. For the last 200K miles, I have run BFG AT's in 315/70/17 on my 06 Dodge Mega 2500 4x4. Recently, I upgraded to the 10-ply 35/12.50/17E All Terrain KO2's and all I can say is "wow!" These tires are the quietest yet and the traction is awesome. My wife immediately commented on how smooth the truck was riding, too. So far, I only have about 3K miles on them but can see no wear. The new BFG's have a lot more rubber on the sidewalls and have more of a "side biter" trait. They appear much tougher than the old ones but I've not proven this in rocks. They handle great, ride smooth, and definitely grab in the dirt and offroad. If these last the way my old AT's did, I've found my new tire of choice!

BFG Loyalty
First, I don't work for Michelin and no involved with BFG in any way other than being a loyal customer. I have been buying nearly exclusively BFG tires since I was 16. I am now 29 and just bought something like my 12th set of tires for vehicles my wife and I have owned. Everytime with the exception of two sets I have bought a Michelin family tire. I absolutely love the All Terrain T/A KO so I was naturally a little worried about them making the change to another version. The previous AT KO I had on my 2009 Ram 1500 I took off with 77,247 and they had somewhere between 2 and 3/32nds left. I find the tires to be phenomenal and I never even had a flat during that run of a lot of miles. I am so far impressed with the KO2 it is quiet and rides really nice grip seems great but no winter driving yet. I do wonder why they stopped putting the rim protection bead on and why they would not offer a raised white letter anymore? I went down a size from 285/65R20 to 275/65R20 to save a little cash so commenting on MPG probably is not apples to apples but I have not noticed a change thus far. Quality like these tires include is a great piece of mind and when you calculate the cost per mile I think you will find they are a very good deal in reality.

noisy tires
I have a set of these tires on my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 2 wd. I have low mileage on the tires and the tread is almost full. My problem is that they have just started making a terrible noise. I would like to know if anyone else has had this problem.

Best TA yet
I've only had this new KO2 tire for a short time and I can tell you it's very quiet and smooth on the road for an All Terrain tire. It's not a deep swampy slimy mud tire but it does great in almost all off-road conditions including mild mud and doesn't throw stones as much as the previous model, exactly what it was made for. BF G just needs to offer more sizes in a load C tire. In all, great all around tire and nothing is as good as a TA at what it was designed for.

Too Loud compared to original KO's
Have had 3 other sets of the KO's before, when needed a new set, decided on the KO2's. Size 265 70 17. The new KO's with the more aggressive sidewall tread are unbelievably loud on the highway. As I spend 95% on the highway, I should have thought about that. When I say unbelievably loud on highway, I mean can't talk on cell phone loud. Compared to the old KO's I would say theses are 10 times as loud. Tough tires, but I wish the salesman would have said these are loud as mud tires and I would have opted for a new set of the old style.

My New KO2's Saved the Day
Several Weeks ago I purchased a set of KO2's for my 2012 F-150 King Ranch 4 X 4 (with Max tow package) to replace my factory highway tires. My truck is used in a wide range of driving conditions for South Louisiana, including high speed highway driving, local trips, towing my 9,500 lb travel trailer, and sometimes mud driving. I use my truck for my job as the director of the local levee district. These tires look and handle great. My fuel economy appears to be the same as before. Today, my new tires were put to the ultimate test. I was at the end of a new 3 mile dirt levee under constriction when it suddenly started raining very hard, which occurs frequently in South Louisiana in the summer time. This is the first time that I really needed to use my 4wd low setting. My new KO2's saved the day and I was able to get out of a potentially very bad situation. I honestly believe that I would have bogged down with my old tires and would have needed a tractor or bulldozer to pull me out. Great Tires!

Best A/T tire I've used
I've put these tires through all kinds of terrain; Mud, sand, large river rock, gravel, crawled over large slick wet boulders, and yes on the highway at high speeds. You definitely get your money's worth with these tires.

Disapointed Loyalist
I am a BFGoodrich loyalist. I have had 4 sets of All terrain KO's on my truck each set lasting at least 75,000 miles. I have 390,000 miles on my F350. I have just purchased my fifth set of All terrains this set being the KO2s and I am not happy with them. They have had a balance issue since the beginning and since have had two replaced because they were out of specs. The important aspects of a tire to me is performance, longevity and smoothness all characteristics of BFG's I have had in the past. The KO2's don't live up to this. I would go back to KO's if they didn't stop making them in the size that I need. Please get this resolved!! Your tires used to be great!!!

Great looking tires.. really get out of balance quick
Was really excited about putting these tires on my van. After 1 week, I had to take them back to my retailer to have them balanced again . Since... Have had them back five times in 3 months, every time with excessive amounts of weight added to balance(Not the rims). Took them to another dealer out of town and ended up having them tell me 14oz. of weight on 2 of 4 tires and that they were very out of round. Since have met another gentleman that had the same problem on his F250 pickup. Have also had one tire already replaced with another that has the same problem. Really disappointed how out of round these tires are. They grip the road great. Do well in gravel roads and dirt. But at 55-65mph they now have a howl and are going out of balance very quickly. Van was aligned and ball joints replaced before putting on the new tires and rims. Hoping BFG will take care of these. Maybe just a bad batch.
