Not Up To Standard
18,000 miles on tires and have had them road force balanced 4 times!!! I have rotated about every 3,000 miles due to them being out of balance and a shimmy at highway speeds. Each time I take them to my dealer they tell me they were way out of balance again. I have not had these tires off road, all my driving is in-town and highway. The shimmy at highway speeds are Still there and not fixed, add that to the fact that they are 75% worn I am very disappointed. In the market for new tires anyone have recommendations? The tires look good but the tread wear and balance issues outweigh the looks. I would def not recommend these to anyone.
Inconsistent wear
Mounted on a 3500 cummins. Rotated every 7000 miles, tires are at 33,000 miles currently. Two of the four tires are wearing extremely fast. I ordered these as one of the first people in my area. First, only two tires were delivered unfortunately, and the shop mounted them. These two tires have >50% tread still. 2 weeks later, the other tires came in, brought the truck back in, and now those tires have worn very fast (almost no tread left). Tires have been rotated carefully (too pricey not to!) but I can't stop the 2 from wearing quickly. It seems to me there are inconsistencies in the manufacturing process that need to be figured out. Disappointing
I was really looking forward to getting these tires on my Ram 2500 when the OEM tires wore out. As a previous K/O owner, i was very satisfied with my experiences with the tires. But, something was just not right with these, 24k miles, 10 months, and they are shot. So worn out the shop would not even rotate them. I had gotten 60-80k out of the old version, but these just did not hold up. Seemed to do okay while they had some life to them, just did not last nearly long enough to keep them on the truck. Just not a good combination for me this time around.

Purchased these KO2 tires to replace my factory (SRA)tires. Same size as truck recommends. Great looking tire, Reviews were great. The tire is quiet with hardly any road noise. With the radio off and everyone quiet I think I can hear a little tire noise at 60 mph. I think... It is stiffer. Max psi is 80psi. I run these on my truck at 50 psi. you feel more bumps in road. But that is expected with more heavy duty tire. I feel these tires can go anywhere. What a good tire for a truck. I feel it is the best tire out there right now.
So far so good
This is my second set of these tires for my 85 Suburban better known as "the sub". Ran the last set for 50k+ Over the last 12 years. Not my every day commuter car more my Home Depot, dump, skiing, hunting rig. These tires have seen it all and still look good. Only one repair all that time on a hunting trip (figures). A large screw caught up with me. That was several years ago. Could still run them but figured about time for a new set. I'll stick with BFGs.
2012 F-150 Crew Cab XLT 4X4
Just replaced my stock tires (SRA) with same size BFG KO2's. They add a nice look to the truck. They are a stiffer tire, load range E, max inflation of 80 psi. I run them around 50 psi. There is barely any road noise from tire. Almost the same as SRA's from factory. So no you will not hear humming noise from tires. They are stiffer and you will feel bumps a little more defined, as expected. so far so good:) I read reviews before buying them and this seems to be the way to go.
disappointment
I bought tires BFGoodrich® All-Terrain T / A KO LT315 / 70R17 / E 121 S. Why the real tire Size is only 33 inches?!!!! In addition, the tires proved to be not possible to balance!
Horrible Tires
The new KO2 is a horrible tire. I have had BFG tires on 4 Jeeps and 3 trucks before this set and have been great. The new set I have have been a nightmare. They have been to three different shops for 6 attempts at balancing them. They will not balance out. For the amount of time I have spent bringing these to a shop I could have purchased a new set of tires from a different manufacture. This will be my last set of BFG tires.
great tread wear and traction for my Raptor
Use my Raptor for going hunting in winter and and run into muddy conditions most of the time. These tires have excellent traction and rid themselves of mud easily. I have never had any slick over with these tires. I rotate tires every 6,000 miles and check alignment. Absolutely no road noise on dry pavement and excellent wear. After 17,000 miles they still look new. Very pleased
Best tires ive ever had
I had just got these tires put on my 99' chevy and was a little skeptical on how these would preform off road. I live in kansas and we just got a lot of rain and i made the stupid decision to try to cross a river i can barely make when its not just rained. so right as i go in my back end starts to float and next thing i know im hood deep in a river. but right as we were drifting closer to the shore i felt the tires catch grip and they pulled me right out. If it werent for these tires my truck would be halfway down a kansas creek. I plan on buying these tires every time.
