Great tire.
This tire does well on and off road. Great all round tire. Not loud and tracks well. Previous sets of BFG ATs have lasted me over 60k miles of on and off road use.

This tire is great in rain, snow, ice, and is a comfortable right. I have 285/75/16's on my Xterra currently. When it was time to upgrade tires, I had no question what I wanted. I've had them on every 4x4 I've owned. They have awesome offroad traction, a comfortable ride for daily driving, and great adverse weather handling. Could not recommend higher.

Unhappy customer
We recently had to replace two of the four tires that were purchased under a year ago. They became bald after 8 months of use. I do not believe that these truck tires should wear out this quickly. First off, we were told by the sales person that these tires have had issues yet were still charged full price to replace them. Yes, we put 12,000 miles on them and not professionally rotated but, I'm still not convinced that we should have to replace our tires every 8 months. If I had to replace all 4 tires again, I would have purchased a different brand.
Unsafe on wet roads
I purchased these tires three years ago and have about 30,000 miles on them now. For the last year I have noticed that these tires are unsafe on anymore this road condition. If I need to stop or take off after any amount of rain the tires skip in lose traction. For any amount of money, I would not recommend these tires for a lightweight truck
Junk
They lasted 15,000 miles on my 2500hd silverado. Forva load range E tire made for heavy trucks they dont last.
Probably wouldn't buy this tire again
First off, let me say i liked everything about the tire while i had them. They were great in snow, great on our sloppy gravel roads when they were wet or dry, were quiet, handled nicely, all stuff i would expect from a top rated tire like the KO2. The bad part is, in my 05 chevy duramax, i only got 22000 miles on a set of four. I rotated them every 5000 miles and in 2.5 years, they were bald. I get my trucks alignment checked fairly often, and there was no uneven wear at all. I always maintained tire pressure at the recommended levels on the door sticker. They were LT265/75 r16 123/120q E rated tires. Like i said, i loved the tires except for the short life.
Definitely worth the money
I owned KM2s before buying these KO2s. So far I love the way these drive on the pavement. They handle great in the rain. I have allot more confidence when driving through standing water on the freeway. I can't wait to get these on the trail and see how the do in the mud and on the rocks. Great all around tire so far.
Tire wear
I have had 2 sets of AT's and 2 sets of AT KO's. I've gotten 80000 miles plus out of each set with rotation every 6000 miles. According to the reviews I'm reading thatpeople are only getting around 50000 miles out of the KO2. That is concerning. What changed. If the tire ha changed that much I would have to look for something else. It's a shame to ruin a tire that has had a proven track record for over 40 years.
Been everywhere with these, absolutely love them!
I've been to multiple off-road parks, up mountain hunting trails, in mud pits and spent 2 winters on these tires now. They haven't let me down once. In everything I've tried the only thing that stopped me was a motor malfunction, these tires always found traction and kept me moving. I have roughly 20k miles on them now and they still have at least 2/3 of their life left. Unless your truck is electric, you won't hear them on road either, they are quiet even after beginning to wear. For on road/off-road mix, I wouldn't buy another tire.
