Not round tires!

I have owned and 4 sets of KO2s but my last set have been a nightmare :( after 10k miles and failing road force so bad the Hunter machine was maxing out I had enough and made BFG take them back. The truck has never really driven right since getting them on a year ago constant vibrations at highway speed. I had my differential randomly go out on me on the highway and I do no heavy towing I found it weird as it cracked the G80 housing. So after rebuilding and re gearing I took it in to have balance and discount informed me two tires were unsafe to continue on.

Love the tire - too much for my 2014 4 cylinder Tacoma

I love the good looks, traction and durability of this tire. However, the load range E tire is too heavy for my 4 cylinder Tacoma. I lost 1-2 MPG's when I replaced the stock tires with this tire and the motor is working pretty hard to turn the tires. Especially when I go into the mountains around Denver. These tires would be great on a heavier duty truck.

disappointed with the new bfg's

I have purchased 8 pairs of the bfg's and they have all been great. The new bfg's lasted me a year and a half, 11,000 miles and that's rotating and getting several alignments. I will not be buying anymore bfg's.

Terrible Treadwear

2006 Toyota Tundra DC with LT275/70R17 BFG AT KO2. I was always skeptical about these tires. Then the new tread design came out, I watched all their hype videos and decided to give them a shot. It seemed they put a good deal of effort into the new design. Boy, was I wrong. These tires are great for on road use, but that's about it. I've heard great stories about how people were getting 50k+ miles out of BFG's, I've got 23k miles on them and they are shot. I got stuck on a boat launch this weekend and had to be pulled out. I didn't realize how bad the tread wear had gotten. 15/32 tread depth should only be allowed for on-road tires, not tires marketed as AT's. I feel bad because I've been recommending these tires for the last 2 years. They were rotated every 6k miles. Looks like I will be going back to Mickey Thompson ATZ in the next couple of months, at least I know I will get at least 40k with them like I have in the past. STAY AWAY FROM THESE TIRES, THEY ARE JUNK!!!

My choice for Best All-Terrain Tire since 1977

First used this tire on a 1977 Jeep Cherokee Chief driving from Ft. Bragg, NC to Ft. Richardson, AK and 3 years of spirited and tough Alaska driving. Drove back to Alaska in 1981 in a 1955 Willys Jeep wagon in December and the tires took me through the worst winter could hand out once again. I've since used them on two other Jeeps, a 2001 Cherokee and a 2006 Commander and a 2008 Chevrolet Avalanche, all 4WD vehicles used for hunting, fishing, exploring as well as daily driving. Today they were installed on my 2017 Ram Rebel replacing the original A/T tires which were good highway tires but not good enough on snow and ice. Thanks BF Goodrich for protecting me and my family for 40 years and providing so many good memories along the way.

very dissapointing

Saved a longtime to buy the KO2s and they have never been true. After multiple balancing and evaluating they still cannot balance these tires. Vibration between 44-48 MPH is constant! I have always been a BFG AT person for over 20 years but these tires have a problem and cost me hours and hours of my time and money. 35x12.5x18 BFG KO2 have a problem and needs to be addressed

Excellent all around tires for my Jeep

I bought these 255x70x18 KO-2's for my Sahara 3 years ago. They are still like new. They are used on and off road and have performed excellently. They are great in the snow, rain, and dry roads. Relatively quiet on the highway. Next time around, I'll be getting KO-2's in a size or two up from stock. The only thing to consider is my gas mileage did drop a couple of mpg but its a small price to pay for the superior all terrain performance.

Horrible wear

The tires look great should have the best reviews for the money you spend. But the truth is the wear is terrible. They do not wear evenly and the inside of the tire is not the same depth as the outside. Rotations don't help and I am disappointed in my purchase.

Excellent tire

I've had 4 sets of these tires on all 3 of my past and 1 current F350 Dually 4x4's . I just outfitted an F250 4x4 with 265/70R18s for our extra truck. I've had excellent tire wear by regular balance and rotations. I'll admit , steer tires they do tend to cup but regular rotation keeps in in check. I tow numerous trailers; 5th wheel camper, 6 Horse gooseneck and flatbed utility trailer 40% of my miles. I've gotten 50K miles no problem. Additionally, my son uses this same tire on all his construction trucks ( 4 in the fleet right now) with same excellent results. They have excellent snow and mud control.

Poorly Made, Extremely Rough Ride

Bought 265-70-17s for my new Tacoma, was super excited having owned older version of the ATs and loved the new look. From day 1 they were impossible to balance, have 3+ ounces of lead on 3 of the tires and over 4 on the 4th. They have a bad crown in them even though being run on a 17 x 8.5 rim(should be the correct size as far as I know). Though somewhat balanced they ride super rough on roads, like riding on tires made of wood, picking up every bump despite having a custom Bilstein suspension. I would not buy these again and I am looking for other good AT options to replace these bad tires with.

Love These Bullet-Proof Tires!

I bought a set of T/A K02's for my 2011 Sequoia, as I do a lot of driving on Forest Service Road and on icy roads here in Central Oregon. I love these tires because they are indestructible...don't have to worry about flats, don't have to worry about sidewall punctures. I'm getting great wear. I don not have any worries driving on snow or on muddy roads; great traction! They are a bit noisy at 60+ MPH but not intrusively so. They are difficult to balance, but that could be related to their weight relative to the rest of the suspension components. Love 'em and will buy another set when I get a new truck! M.
