As a owner of two Honda vehicles, I am tired of leaving Honda Sherbrooke with regret! The focus here is clearly on maximizing charges rather than providing honest service. When questioned about pricing or warranty specifics (like battery coverage), staff often hide behind a 'lack of knowledge,' making it impossible to trust their advice. I now prefer driving to dealerships in other cities. If you want a service department that values its customers and knows its own policies, I recommend going elsewhere.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but my recent experience at [Honda Sherbrooke] with the dealership director, [Maxim], was disappointing enough that I felt others should be aware. From the start, It felt like customer service was the last priority. What was most frustrating was the director’s attitude—condescending and unprofessional. Rather than addressing my concerns directly, he seemed more interested in rushing the process and pushing a sale than building trust. I expected more from someone in a leadership role at a dealership that claims to value transparency and customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, this experience did the opposite. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for respectful, honest service.

One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I was told they would do a full inspection on my car, and I agreed. But when I arrived at the service department, one of the advisors said my vehicle was there because of a noise coming from the driver’s seat. I said yes, and she immediately handed me a $350 bill. I asked why it was $350 when the full inspection was supposed to cost $150. She said it was because they were investigating the seat noise. I asked if the full inspection wouldn’t include that issue, and she stayed quiet for a moment before rudely saying, “Okay, I’ll remove the $150.” The point is, they try to overcharge, especially people who might not notice—like newcomers or anyone who doesn’t double-check the details. My advice to others and to the owner: hire honest staff, and to everyone in Sherbrooke—always read your bills carefully.

I think it’s very unprofessional of some workers at Honda Sherbrooke to tell the customer “if you don’t know what to get don’t waste my time”. I believe it’s a very mutual respect between seller and buyer. People can go to different dealership but most of people like Honda but the salesman will destroy the reputation.

Advice for New Immigrants Exploring Vehicle Financing I wanted to share my experience to help others, especially new immigrants navigating their first vehicle purchase. When I visited this dealership as a newcomer, I was told that my financing application was declined by the Bank of Canada, and was instead offered a much higher interest rate through a private lender. Thankfully, I took the time to review the details and decided not to proceed. I still have the full email correspondence and credit report showing the sequence of events and the lenders approached. Although the staff were courteous overall, I advise newcomers to carefully review all financing offers and consult with trusted sources before making any decisions. It took me nearly a year to write this review, but I feel it’s important. Shortly after, I was approved instantly by Toyota and purchased a RAV4 within two days. When I mentioned this approval to Honda Sherbrooke, I was told that Toyota must have “lied to the bank” to secure financing for me. Frankly, if securing a sale requires integrity, that responsibility should lie with the dealership — not with misleading customers into higher-rate financing.
