I'm fairly sure they tried to scam my mother by telling her she needed brakes redone immediately. Once they realised it was still on warranty suddenly she didn't need brakes anymore....but they reluctantly agreed to do one on warranty. Next time I went in, having trouble with warbling after replacing two tires they didn't want to help or check it and just said it's snow.

Went to have one tire aired up a bit as it triggered my tpms. Got there over 10 minutes before they closed and all the employees were already changed out (including who I can only assume was the manager) and he tried telling me they were closed for the day! I asked when they closed and he told me 6pm. I checked my watch to confirm that it DEFINITELY WAS NOT 6. And only then did he do his job and air up my tire. I worked for kal tire in the east end for nearly 5 years and I would have been fired for a lot less than this. This is not how Canadians run their businesses. Idk why these people think it’s ok to shut down before closing time. The two other employees who were leaving early walked right past me and when I said: “hey” they didn’t even acknowledge my existence. I’ve never had such a garbage experience at a kal tire before.

Have always had touble free service here. Just got new tires for one of my cars and if I had known they were going to be that quick, I would have just waited in store.

Kal Tire personnel went above and beyond, converting a Saturday horror story into a Cinderella ending. Knowledgeable staff, coupled with fast and efficient service will have me going back for all my future needs.
As an FYI, hit a big rock which took out both driver side front and rear tires and rims

The day we were leaving on our camping trip we had a flat tire on the side wall of our front drivers tire. The staff were so nice costumer service was great personal and made sure all tires were ready for our road trip.! They gave mis insight on our new Roger’s and pads which they said were done properly and top product installed.
Darren their service mech was wonderful and insightful!
