I have been driving GM vehicles for almost 42years. I was due for a new vehicle and this time I decided to shop around. I checked out three different makes and all along I thought I would end up back with GM. I entered Fraser Ford and was met by Sales Consultant Brendan Livesey. We began to chat about the Ford trucks and I found him to be very friendly, patient and professional, all my questions were answered and at no time was there any pressure. While checking out the vehicle I was interested in I was also met by the General Sales Manager Joey Ly, and the New Vehicle Sales Manager Brent Johnson who both took the time out of their day to talk with me and offer me information regarding the Ford line of vehicles. Brendan and I crunched some on a couple of vehicles, and at no time was I obligated to buy anything. After this I did go to a GM dealer that I know very well, and have purchased and leased several vehicle from and they were not willing to crunch any numbers, other then the sticker prices unless I was ready to buy that day. I didn't feel very respected and I felt like I was "just another customer walking in the door" Well I am now the very happy and proud owner of a Ford Lariat. My first Ford ever, but I don think my last. Brendan, Joey and Brent were fantastic and a real credit to the industry and to Fraser Ford. And last but not least I met with Financial Services Manager Allan Hurlburt, who very patiently walked me through the financing and final steps to ownership of my new Ford. The service, Respect and professionalism I received took a 42 year GM owner and made him a Ford Owner. And it wasn't the price that turned me, it was the treatment I received at the customer service level. 5 stars are not enough. Thank you all for treating me like a person and not just "another customer walking in the door".

A big shout out to Frazer Ford specifically Alan Dodge for resolving an issue on my 2009 F150 Lariat. After having a sunroof leak causing numerous problems my local mechanic had to replace my information screen as one of the problems. The screen was never readable so I took it to numerous places where nobody could figure it out. Alan Dodge discovered it was the wrong screen for my model year. He took the time to diagnose, ask questions and most of all believed me when I said there was and issue. He sourced a replacement and everything is working again. Thanks Alan for all the time you spent trying to get this resolved. Also would like to thank Derrick in services for keeping me informed on the progress. Not often you find a guy like Alan that took it on like it was his own issue, everyone else gave up. Thanks again Alan. I will definitely buy my next vehicle's there.

I went to Fraser Ford for what I was thought would be a simple HVAC diagnostic. I was informed upfront that the diagnostic would take about 1 to 1.5 hours, at roughly $170/hour, and that the total would be around $250. I agreed to this, keeping my budget in mind, because my car’s heating is not working and I have family and kids, and winter is at its peak. If I wanted guesswork, I could have gone to any local mechanic. I specifically chose a Ford dealership because I expected proper diagnostic equipment, expertise, and clear answers for a Ford vehicle. After one hour, I received a call saying they needed two more hours to “get deeper” into the issue. Even worse, I was told that even after those extra two hours, they could not assure me that they would find the root cause, but I would still need to pay for the time regardless. That alone should have been my red flag. However, the advisor reassured me that “most likely we’ll figure it out” and that moving forward would help resolve the issue. For the sake of my family and because heat is essential, I reluctantly stretched my budget thin and went ahead. After those two extra hours, I got another call and shockingly, they still could not identify the actual problem. Instead, I was given guesses, not a diagnosis: Option 1: Replace the fan controller for around $300, with NO assurance it would fix the problem. Option 2: If that doesn’t work, move on to the HVAC module, which could cost anywhere from $800++ with parts and labor. So after multiple hours of “diagnostics,” the dealership - Could not pinpoint the fault - Could not provide a confirmed solution - Could not guarantee any repair would work - Yet still expected me to keep spending more money At that point, I told them to stop all work immediately. I had no choice but to pay $576 just to get my car back in exactly the same condition as I brought it in, with zero improvement and no resolution with additional costs for Ubers for not having my car for 2 days. This raises a serious question What is the point of paying dealership level, exorbitant prices if they cannot even diagnose the issue accurately? This felt like trial and error at the customer’s expense, not professional diagnostics. Completely unacceptable, especially from a Ford dealership. I left frustrated, disappointed, and feeling taken advantage of. I would never recommend Fraser Ford for diagnostics, especially if you’re expecting clarity, accountability, or value for your money. I hope that management will review this, address my situation and provide a fair resolution.

We took our Ford Explorer to Fraser Ford Oshawa for an HVAC diagnostic. We were informed the diagnostic would take about 1.5 hours, but we were ultimately charged almost $600. After paying this amount, the issue was still not pinpointed or resolved. We were then told that we would need to continue paying more without any assurances that it will be fixed. After our complaint, during a follow up call, we were told by the manager that my husband was being a “difficult customer” and also “dishonest”. This was surprising and disappointing. We did not ask for a refund. We only expect that after spending almost $600, the HVAC issue should be completely resolved. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience. I hope that the owner and management will take note and resolve this issue immediately, as this experience does not reflect the level of service one would expect from an authorized Ford dealership.
