I did a major maintenance on my Toyota Prius a couple of weeks ago with intention to keep it for another couple of year. Today, my mechanic told me the undercarriage is rusted out and will not be safe to drive after this winter. How did this escape the mechanics at Toyota? I guess $900 maintenance was a money grab. Very disappointed.

Some Google reviews don’t adequately convey what deserves to be recognized. This is one such review. I have been a customer of 1000 Islands Toyota (Brockville, ON) for more than six years. The staff exemplify the spirit of customer satisfaction. They have always consistently strived to ensure that not only are the customer’s needs met, but they go above and beyond to bring about something more, ‘client happiness’. Recently I purchased a new vehicle. Timing and circumstances on this occasion meant the vehicle was obtained from another dealership. While Toyota’s product is exceptional, my experience at the ‘other dealership’ [italics] was disappointing. In fact, aspects were dissatisfactory. Following the sale, I returned to Brockville and shared my experience with Chris Walker, Dealer Principal, with whom I have become acquainted over the years. Mr. Walker is friendly, good-humoured and truly embodies what it means to be ‘neighbourly.’ I purchased Toyota’s Extra Care Protection (ECP) extended warranty, Toyota’s ECP Tire & Rim Road Hazard Protection, and an accessory – speaking frankly, the other dealership did not deserve to receive any after-sale business. Quietly, and without fanfare, Mr. Walker did something exceedingly thoughtful and generous. Out of respect for Mr. Walker, I’ll stop short of saying what he did. Suffice it to say, what he specifically did for this one customer wasn’t what is important here, as it is he would treat any customer with equal consideration, generosity and thoughtfulness. Without hesitation, I’ll remain a contented customer of 1000 Islands Toyota (Brockville).

I can’t thank Matthew Lavryssen enough for his support and dedication in helping me transfer the lease of my late husband’s vehicle, even though I wasn’t listed as a co-borrower. What should’ve been a straightforward process turned into two months of back-and-forth with the Toyota dealership and Toyota Financial Services. Throughout it all, Matthew stood by me. He did his own research, took initiative with every next step, and stayed committed to seeing the process through to the end. This wasn’t an easy journey, but Matthew handled it with patience, professionalism, and genuine care. I truly hope this experience helps establish a clearer path for others going through the same situation. Thank you, Matthew, for not giving up and for making a very difficult time a little less stressful.

I cant imagine anyone giving this dealership 4 or 5 stars. Joe the salesmen (maybe even manager), must think his dealership doesn't need to treat customers with respect. After calls and text messages about a new car, he refuses to return one simple message. So disappointing, after owning 3 Toyotas, we come to expect better treatment. Please, if you want to be treated like a human, then spend your hard earned money elsewhere. Horrible!!!

I would like to express my appreciation to the team at the Toyota Service Center. Every visit to the Toyota service department is always met with warmth, friendliness, and professionalism. The front desk staff consistently greet me with great enthusiasm, making each visit feel comfortable and reassuring. The team proactively offers shuttle service and always takes the time to help me choose the most suitable maintenance package for my vehicle—without upselling or unnecessary recommendations. They truly prioritize what is best for their customers. This time, I discovered an issue with my brake pads right before an important business trip. I was worried about the timing, but the staff were extremely understanding and accommodating. They helped arrange everything quickly and allowed me to pay and pick up my car after I returned. Their thoughtfulness and flexibility made a huge difference, and I am very grateful. Their attitude, efficiency, and quality of work are consistently excellent. I truly enjoy coming here for car maintenance. Thank you to the entire Toyota service team for your outstanding service!👍👍👍
