Family and myself have been going to this location since 1993. They have the best customer service and techs. Today, it was just as expected. Jireh was very professional and helpful and so were the tech. For someone who is works in his own car and like things setup my way (with in factory specs) I enjoy coming here Thanks team

Went in for a tire swap and they tore off my bumper by accident. Such a headache! I asked them to comp the tire change, for all trouble, and the manager said we can either comp the tire change or we can cover the cost to fix your bumper via insurance 🤣 Couldn’t believe he actually said that! As if there was a world in which I was responsible to pay for the damages.

I took in my e250 mercedes as I thought I had a slow leak. Jihreh advised me they were short staffed but did a rotation and leak check quicker than promised. They advised I needed new back brakes and I explained I had an appointment for repair set up. Jihreh is very efficient, courteous, knowledgeable and would be a super manager. Not just because she is hot. She gets the work done.

I took my Volkswagen Tiguan to Kal Tire to have the rear brakes replaced. During the service, they improperly disengaged the electronic parking brake (EPB). Rather than using the correct diagnostic tool or procedure required for VW vehicles, they appear to have forced the system, which damaged the electronic parking brake actuator and connector. After the brake job, the parking brake was reconnected incorrectly. Within two days, the EPB failed completely, became stuck on, and the vehicle was undrivable. I then had to take the car to a VW specialist, who confirmed that the parking brake wiring/connector pins were bent and the actuator had been damaged due to improper handling. The repair required full OEM replacement and cost approximately $2,000. While Kal Tire did offer to “look into it,” they misdiagnosed the issue they caused and did not clearly explain what had gone wrong before attempting rushed fixes. Ultimately, they were unable to repair the damage. I would not recommend this Kal Tire location for anything beyond basic tire services. They are not equipped to work on vehicles with specialist systems like VW electronic parking brakes. This was a very costly mistake that could have been avoided by either using the correct tools or referring the job to a specialist. I’ve included a photo of the damaged connector so others can see the issue and avoid a similar experience

It was December 24 with everything closing down for holidays and I had a tire losing air. Phoned everywhere and Kal Tire fit me in. Turns out tire sidewall was damaged so repair not possible. The manager checked everywhere for a replacement and found the only tire for my EV in Victoria. He called and double checked that they had it and then arranged courier. The car had to remain over the holidays until tire arrived. They moved my car indoors to be safe and secure. Amazing service from manager and all the staff there. I will definitely go back when I need a new set of tires. Thanks!
